As the regions dedicated comprehensive pain management practice, we accept referrals to evaluate patients with pain. We know that patient care can be hard, but access to patient care shouldn't be. We offer options to best suit your patient's needs. Board certified/eligible pain fellowship trained physicians will evaluate each patient to develop a tailored and balanced treatment plan.

I have been seeing Dr. Atkinson twice a month for just over a year. He is truly the most compassionate pain management doctor I have ever had. During my first appointment, he said to me, “I won’t give up on you,” and he never has. As a 26 year old with numerous complex chronic pain conditions who has been dismissed from other pain management practices due to being “too complex,” this meant the world to me. I was a patient of this dr very kind staff but doctor really let me down I got 2 injections the second put me n the bed for 3 days called the office I still haven’t heard back it’s been a week i had to go to emergency room admitted to hospital with reaction to injection wife called the office doctors said they really couldn’t do anything thing for my pain because I was under his care I still haven’t heard from the doctor I would. not recommend this place to anyone save your money find another place to help you

Dr Atkinson is an awesome Doctor, he shows concern and compassion for your problem , listens and comes up with a game plan to get you were you need to be. I’ve had 2 appointments with him and both times he and his staff went way out of the way to help us get through this difficult situation of back pain , I will not say back injections are fun, but he is very concerned about you and your pain management. So give they a try !!! Glad we did , looking forward to feeling better soon.

Dr. Atkinson is THE Best doctor that I've ever been to. His care & compassion for those of us with chronic pain is truly a breathe of fresh air. The staff is amazing and are always helpful and considerate. It is obvious that they really are there because they care about their patients. 5 stars are not enough for Dr. Atkinson & his staff. The doctor is wonderful and I would highly recommend him Envision over the nearest pain Management center in that area. The staff and the doctor are awesome. where is the other local pain management office and staff and doctors are terrible and degrade and think low of the locals in this area . I could not believe what he said to me about the locals and he was so excited to retire because of how he could not stand being a doctor in this area which he is from Florida which makes him think he is so much better than the North Carolinians.I am from South Carolina but I can tell you I would never ever
