Jack 'n Jill Childcare was started in 1967 in Webster, New York. It was a time when the word "day care" was not yet in our vocabulary. However, a special teacher named Joyce Scamacca saw the need for full day care for children. It was becoming evident as mothers began to enter the workplace, attend college, and have careers outside their homes that full daycare was needed.
Morning and afternoon preschool programs were enhanced to provide care throughout the day. Singing and dancing became an every day occurrence, followed by ABC's and 1,2,3's. Socialization was in harmony with learning throughout the day. Soon after, Joyce Scamacca became Joyce LoMonaco and began to expand her family and her business.

As a parent and employee of over 15 years, all three of my children ages 5-14 were and continue to be in the best hands. This family oriented company values itself on quality care to the children. The fact that they closed for 3 months for the health and safety of its employees, children and families during this pandemic speaks for itself. Now we are back and safer than ever!🙂
