You need AT LEAST 2 weeks of growth for most body areas. 3 weeks is actually better for places you shave frequently, like legs, underarms, and bikini area. If your hair grows fast, it may look long enough to wax after a week, and some of those hairs may BE long enough. BUT there are small hairs underneath that won't be long enough for the wax to grab.
But it's not torture. I always work with new clients to go at a pace that is comfortable for them. Also, if it turns out to be more painful than you want to endure, we can call it off at any time. The fact is, most people end up saying it wasn't as bad as they thought it would be. I also sell a product called Bare Ease which is a numbing cream and a latex panty.

I just left Samantha's shop & I have found my lash lady! I've never had a lash lift & tint so when I arrived I was unsure of what to expect. Samantha came & got me from the front & took me back. She was very attentive & explained the process clearly. Once she was done explaining, I had no questions at all. The process was very meditative for me. I had my eyes closed for the lift so I couldn't do anything but lay there & relax. It was definitely a positive experience. After she was done I was amazed at how wonderful my lashes looked. I went to Samantha for my first Brazilian and bottom half of my legs. I had never been waxed before but she was so patient with me and checked in multiple times during the service to see if I was doing okay. She's very quick and efficient at her job and never leaves you sitting in awkward or uncomfortable positions longer than needed. Samantha is very personable, so it's almost like being waxed by an old friend! I went for my first professional Brazilian and it was great! Samantha is fast and efficient. She asked me some questions before hand and also asked me if I had any for her. I felt comfortable the entire time. I saw a complaint about some of the positioning but I have to say I disagree. I felt completely comfortable and it's totally worth it to have a thorough wax! Wouldn't change a thing!!

I have been searching high and low for someone like Samantha ever since I moved to Norman last March. I received a brow, lip and nose wax which was one of the best I've had, but the most amazing/fascinating part was the eyelash "perm". I have super long and straight lashes so this did the trick without having to get extensions. It's been 2 weeks and they still look perfect. I'm obsessed!
