Services
Our office, as well as the The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) all recommend establishing a "Dental Home" for your child by one year of age. Children who have a dental home are more likely to receive appropriate preventive and routine oral health care.
The office attempts to schedule appointments at your convenience and when time is available. Preschool children should be seen in the morning because they are fresher and we can work more slowly with them for their comfort. School children with a lot of work to be done should be seen in the morning for the same reason.
Conscious Sedation is recommended for apprehensive children, very young children, and children with special needs. It is used to calm your child and to reduce the anxiety or discomfort associated with dental treatments. Your child may be quite drowsy, and may even fall asleep, but they will not become unconscious.
Please notify us of any change in your child's health and/or medical condition. Do not bring your child for treatment with a fever, ear infection or cold. Should your child become ill, contact us to see if it is necessary to postpone the appointment. You must tell the doctor of any drugs that your child is currently taking and any drug reactions and/or change in medical history.
If the procedure was in the lower jaw the tongue, teeth, lip and surrounding tissue will be numb or asleep. If the procedure was in the upper jaw the teeth, lip and surrounding tissue will be numb or asleep. Often, children do not understand the effects of local anesthesia, and may chew, scratch, suck, or play with the numb lip, tongue, or cheek.

We loved Dr. S. and his staff, so when he retired we were uneasy. Dr. Crane made the transition smooth for my 2 children, as well as for me as their mother. We love the familiar smiling faces behind the desk, and the new hygenist are an added bonus to the already amazing staff that stayed through the change.

Exceptional service!! My boys get excited when we pull into the parking lot they don't associate the fact that they have to have painful work done because all goodness the staff provides out ways the bad stuff... They look forward to their visits there. The work done is precise and excellent.
They are so good with my boys! They even read to my children when one son is getting work done the other is getting read to by members of their wonderful staff. They treat my children like they our one of their own. I Couldn't ask for better service because it is the best!! P
