Unity Performing Arts Foundation is a multi-faceted performing arts organization with a focus on empowering and developing young people in the areas of artistry, character, and leadership. UNITY also focuses on promoting the soulful arts forms through education, training, and entertainment in the areas of choral music, dance, drama, creative writing, oratory, and instrumental music.

The UNITY family is experiencing a real sense of joy as we look toward what our future possibilities can, and will, be as we seize the opportunity to rise up and become a major beacon of hope for the youth of this community, country and around the world. Unity Performing Arts Foundation, founded by Marshall White in 2000, launched a very comprehensive vision plan, which took seven years to draft, design and plan.
UNITY is the first performing arts organization in the city of Fort Wayne where mainstream soulful art forms are taught, studied and performed by young people. We are also proud to see UNITY become a performing arts organization actively demonstrating diversity at the student, parent, staff, volunteer, board, and audience levels.
Our members are required to learn our foundational statements in English AND Spanish. These foundational statements instill in our students a value system for UNITY and helps to develop an appreciation and understanding of our vision and mission.

The World Champion Voices of Unity Youth Choir (VOUYC) is Unity Performing Arts Foundation's acclaimed Youth Choral Program. It is our premier soulful choral group comprised of youth ages 7 to 19 from various backgrounds in the Fort Wayne community and beyond. The program's goal is to equip, educate, and empower youth to excel in the world before them.
In Spring 2020, we will partner with the Fort Wayne Dance Collective to bring our students an innovative program called Moving Mindset. In this program, students will analyze song lyrics and construct dance movements based on the emotions that the music stirs within. By utilizing critical and creative thinking, students will learn to express themselves verbally and through dance with the guidance of our expert instructors.
