Let's face it, if you are going to buy a diamond ring it is no different than buying a car. Cars are beyond a reasonable mark-up of actual cost, this is an understatement. The same with diamonds, everyone knows there is a 700% - 1000% mark-up on diamonds. Yet the diamond industry continues to persuade both the youth and elderly, men and women, that diamonds are more rare than they truly are with catchy slogans like "diamonds are forever". The diamond industry does not discriminate against whom they will fool next nor how much they will choose to fool them by. Dealers such as "The diamond brothers
