Sam's Well Drilling is a family owned business located in Randolph, WI and is owned by the Vander Galien family, including Sam Jr. and his wife Sylvia, Jim and Sid (Sons) and Ray (Son in Law). The well drilling business has been a part of the Vander Galien family for quite some time; Grandpa, Bill Vander Galien drilled wells dating back to the 1930's.

Hired them originally, received poor service and lack of communication. After many times trying to contact them to schedule our well to be drilled I ended up going with another company in town and they did a wonderful job.

Fix the way you take payments. Cannot take payment via phone (debit or credit) unless they charge a 3% fee. No other way to pay other than physically mailing a check in.

While our contractor hired Sam's, they kept me (the homeowner) in the loop and verified twice the desired location of the well for our new home. It turns out they did not have to drill nearly as far as we expected. I worked with Stu who was so friendly. I highly recommend going with Sam's.

I definitely recommend. They drilled a new well to replace my existing one. I wanted the well drilled before winter hit hard and they explained why it would be better to wait till a hard freeze due to the wet autumn we had and they type of soil I have. It made them work in the cold, but it prevented ruts in my (and my neighbor's) lawn, which made my spring clean-up, re-seeding, etc. much easier. They called ahead to let me know when they would be coming & verified the best way to get to where they needed to drill. Very friendly crew and everything was done in a timely manner.
