Our goal is to provide young children with a home away from home in the San Francisco Bay Area where they can identify with their Korean heritage. Children are immersed in Korean language and culture through songs, stories, and lessons as well as daily interactions with Korean-speaking teachers and friends.
Consistent staff and low student to teacher ratio accommodate the child's own developmental level and pace. Emergent curriculum is evolved out of the child's experiences and interests. Family grouping of children encourage younger kids to learn from older kids and older kids to develop a sense of responsibility and caring behaviors.

Services
Sa Rang Child Care was founded in 1997 by Mrs. Ji. After having worked in various fields of occupation since she immigrated to the U.S. in 1994, she decided it was finally time to pursue her passion in early childhood education and open up a home daycare. She earned all the Early Childhood Education units by attending the International Christian Education College in Los Angeles, CA.

Words can't express how much our family love the caregivers here. I *think* they are the only Korean daycare / preschool that is close to San Francisco. Both of my boys are well taken care of here. My oldest is learning so much Korean, written and spoken as well as good manners, and they are preparing him for Kindergarten. They have become a huge part of our lives and we so appreciate all of their love, nurture, care, and education they bring to our boys lives. The thought of our boys leaving to go on to elementary school just breaks my heart. We'll miss them from our daily lives, but
