We owe Todd a huge thank you for giving us the wedding we always pictured! Music is incredibly important to us, so we interviewed a dozen DJs before landing on Gumbo Entertainment. It was clear from our first meeting that Todd is extremely professional, super knowledgeable, and most importantly a great listener. DJ Corey was great!!! My husband and I weren't that big on music so we felt kind of lost when it came to picking out songs for our wedding. But when we had our first meeting with Corey, he REALLY put our minds at ease. It really wasn't as complicated as I thought! He just asked us what kind of music we were into and told us that we could send him a list of songs that we do want to have played, and he would take care of the rest. On the day of the wedding, we were VERY happy with the selection. The only thing I wasn't THAT happy with was that he played "Love and Marriage"

I'm a wedding planner (www.silvercharmevents.com), and I booked Gumbo Entertaiment for two of my weddings this Spring. The first one was last weekend, and they were fantastic. Wonderful and flexible to work with before the wedding, and wonderful and on the ball during the wedding. DJ Corey Parker was responsive, never blinked at changes in the schedule, and the music he played was fantastic. Had a hard time getting everyone off the dance floor once the music had to stop, and that's never a bad sign. Looking forward to next week's wedding!

Corey Parker brought down the house at our December 15 wedding in Santa Monica! After attending some bridal shows and being completely cheesed out by some of the entertainment offerings I was more than nervous, but then I met the guys at Gumbo Entertainment and I knew that I could trust them not to show up in a purple tux and act as my hype man all night. Gumbo Entertainment was the absolute BEST DJ for our wedding this past September. Todd was EXTREMELY professional, responsive, kind and truly listened to all of our requirements.
I have to admit I was extremely picky on a DJ. We wanted someone who not only brought the crowd together but listened when we said no cheesy music. We even gave Todd a list of songs we wanted played and songs we didn't want played. He, without hesitation, played all of our songs and kept the do not play list nowhere near the dance floor.
We could not have asked for a better DJ. I truly recommend everyone

We just had our wedding this past weekend and Gumbo made it one of the greatest parties I could have ever imagined. Todd was more than accommodating for all of our requests, providing all of the extra equipment we needed and helping out throughout the night! We really enjoyed the teamwork that we felt working with him as we blended some wedding classics with our own personal music selections. I never once felt nervous about the music and when planning a wedding, that is a HUGE relief. Thank you Todd for making the night SUPER fun and memorable. And thanks for being so willing to travel!!

My bride and I were married on Kauai in August and wanted to bring some aloha back for our guests at our reception in Southern California. Along with the aloha we wanted a professional DJ who could reach out to our entire group without being overbearing. The folks at Gumbo were exactly what we were looking for. My husband and I are big music lovers and we wanted our wedding reception to be a party, so picking a DJ was a daunting task for us, it didn't help that my husband DJ'd through college and still does as a favor for close friends. We first met with Corey a few months before the wedding and after the meeting we looked at each other and agreed we had found our DJ he was very attentive to our vision of what we wanted the wedding to be like he asked a lot of questions and had great suggestions for us....my husband gave Corey some suggestions and he ran with it.
