Caitlin Kanayan - 5 starI've never felt the need to write a review for anything, but in this case I feel like I should. I have been there a few times now with my two young kids. Each time the staff has been overly accommodating and friendly. Unfortunately, that seems to be pretty rare on the mountain.
Owner Johnny "Sebastian" Ragazzo is a foodie. Born in NYC, and raised in NY Stat e & New Jersey, it was a prerequisite that Sebastian learned how to cook (from his Great Grandparents, then his Grandparents) from when he was seven-years young. Those who know him a lifetime - know him as Johnny. Johnny was raised on a farm in New York State.
This year, we have lowered the price of reserving the FRONT row of picnic tables due to possible sight obstruction by patrons on the dance floor. We hope this helps those who don't mind the crowds in front but still wish to guarantee a place to sit for friends and family!. Cement Step seating can be reserved for $30/two persons per Letter as shown on our new seating chart.

Great Gem of a sandwich shop! Hidden just outside of Lake Arrowhead. My wife, son, and his fiance stopped here on my recommendation when we were at L. Arrowhead looking for a place to eat. The Arrowhead shopping center parking lot was like Disneyland; 15 min. To find any parking spots. 1 hour or more waits at every single restaurant listed on the Internet. Horribly overcrowded. We got out of there and drove to Hungy Bear. We walked in and there were only 3 or 4 people in there. We sat down at the biggest table for 4 in the back. Digital tv music added to the atmosphere. Place only seats about 10

Yum. Yum. Yum. Best sandwiches on the mountain. Seriously. The owner makes this mac salad as a side that is to DIE for. My kids are obsessed with getting lunch there. They give out little toys with their kids meals which my kids love. They have a grilled mac n cheese sandwich that is so creamy n crispy n good. I've had the gyro and the French dip as well as the pastrami. All high quality meat and bread. Always fresh and delicious. We've been here probably 10 times in the past couple years. We visit this spot every time we go to Lake Aroowhead or Santa's Village. Its maybe 10 minutes from the village

Stopped in at about 11:00am. This deli is terrific! The service is excellent and the food is just fantastic! I ordered the NY sausage and egg on a everything bagel. The sausage was full flavor NY! Egg omelette was cooked perfect and the whole sandwich was nice and hot. My wife felt the same and was very happy! We'll be back for sure. Clean restrooms, dinning area clean and the decor is pleasant and fun. Oh great music too!!!! We are so glad we stopped in!!!
