Positive: Professionalism, Responsiveness
I was represented by the Donat’s during two separate real estate transactions. Both times their office was very responsive and helpful. I worked with both Kate and Pete and in both cases I feel they went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of and understood what I was dealing with. Thank you!

Peter Donat may be good for a home closing or a traffic ticket but I.M.H.O. you are better off representing yourself in a divorce case. His lack of detail cost me over $3000 on my own part of the settlement. This guy can't even add# in his head. When I asked him why didnt you make shure I was protected , his answer was , well you signed the papers. In other words it was my fault I didn't read what he was supposed to do. I.M.H.O. can't do his job. Even my accountant told me, this was basic stuff.

We recently used Donat and Donat for our home sale and purchase and the service was excellent. Walt and Pete were extremely knowledgeable and professional, offered great advice, and ensured everything went as smoothly as possible. Paige, the office manager, was very responsive, friendly, and on point with all of the required documents and actions that were needed. I would highly recommend Donat and Donat to anyone looking for legal services.

Two times, three years a part, this firm sent bills to my address, which matched my name, but not the address of their client. These bills demanded immediate payment and threatened further legal action if payment not immediately remitted. The first time I received the bill I contacted them and they said they had a computer glitch, but I questioned how my address 'popped' up as a contact address and they did not have a good reason. Then, approx. three years later, I received the same letter. This time I have reported them to the Attorney Review Disciplinary Committee in Chicago, which is governed
