Located in New Smyrna Beach, Panheads Pizzeria is a family owned and operated restaurant specializing in homemade pizza with only the freshest ingredients. Panheads was started with a brother & sister who wanted to carry on their grandmother's pizza recipe here in Florida. Grandma Mabel opened up her first pizzeria in 1967 on Daisy Street in Clearfield, Pennsylvania.
We take pride in our family's homemade dough, sauce, and our own special cheese blend. We use only the freshest ingredients and create everything in house. We slow smoke all of our own meat and create all of our own rubs and seasonings. We want you to sit back, relax, and enjoy! No this is one place you have to go to eat pizza you may pay a few more dollars and some of the fast food pizza but this pizza here is like A slice of heaven service was good and they have a wide selection of beer that if you're going to eat in but the pizza speaks for itself it it just melt in your mouth I suggest for anybody if they're ever close by to stop in and try their Pizza you won't be disappointed.

Great service. Cozy atmosphere. EXCELLENT food. We got the pizza flight... SO YUMMY! Meatballs, and baked pasta. Everything was fresh and hot and delish! I even had a special order of plain pasta to go with my meatballs, that wasn't on the menu, and they were happy to make me a side pasta anyway. Service was excellent. We will stop in again next time were in town. Go here if you get the chance. You won't be sorry!

I love the idea (and experience) of the pizza flight! Easy to satisfy the single-topping middle school crowd and the adventurous adults. They are also flexible with puts and takes on toppings for the flight.
My favorite was "Hair of the Dog".
The gluten free crust was thin but reasonably chewy (I've had better and worse). Vegan cheese options and herb oil (vs red sauce) available.
Nice, cozy space, indoor and out. Food does take some time (45min?)...but it's pretty clear up front on menu, reviews, etc. So, get your mind right and it will be great. 🙂
