Some pets may be allowed on the campground (number & size are limited). They must be of a non-intimidating type (discretion of management), cleaned up after, kept on a max. 6' leash and must not be left unattended. We understand that some dogs will bark if someone comes to your door. Other than that, dogs must be kept from barking.
Pets are not allowed with tents. Pet owners agree to remove pet from premises if requested by management. Pets are not allowed in the lake or on beach and picnic area. Nearby there is a nice supper club, golf courses, Lake Michigan fishing charters, horseback riding, mini golf, roller skating, theater, laundromat, kennel service, church services, etc.

This a very well maintained, quiet campground. The owners are very friendly. Good internet. Again this is a campground on a Lake in the woods. Sites are fair size, full hook up. They have boats for rent. Fishing boats, paddle boats, inner tubes. The owners guide you to your site and assists you in backing into it. Also a playground for kids

This was a nice campground next to a private lake. Fishing is catch and release. Not much room to fish from any shore due to lillypads and other lake growth. Need to fish from the dock. More lake access would be welcome. Owners were very friendly, had chats with both. Buildings are dated, but clean. Toilets and shower were at the office building and a small building further in. There is only one shower in each building, cost $.25, in each building. I showered in the rv since I have a personal problem with carrying quarters to shower. You do get 10 min. Had to wait to use the toilet since only one

Very nice and quiet campground. They help direct you to your site, and get into your spot. The staff is very friendly and kind. We had a 30amp electrical hook up that started cutting in and out, the owner was there very promptly to fix the issue(Thanks again for that). The only issues we had was the wifi, our phones have no service here but we are not on a very good network.

We were coming from out of state, wanted to spend the day but had to pay an additional 25.00 with the stipulation of not able to arrive before 10:00am. We can understand if someone was in the spot the night before us that we would have to wait but to charge additional fee after paying our 52.00 daily rate was totally unacceptable. The policies were really strict, if you are looking for visitors to join your stay, they must leave by 7:30pm which they can't even enjoy a fire or a bbq without feeling rushed. If you are looking for a beach, that is a joke in itself. We do not recommend this for children

Very nice smaller beach , very clean and not as crowded as other places. You do have to pay $7 per adult to get in, which is why it's maybe not so crowded. Would be nice if you could get an annual pass. Sometimes it's worth the price to go to a less crowded place. You can bring all the floaties you want and can grill out. Management was very friendly and accommodating.

As other reviewers said, Lake Lenwood Beach and Campground is fantastic. Your family will love it. It's clean, organized, and very well maintained. The owners want guests to enjoy a day, week, or season here. They succeeded.
Some photos show playground items that need repainting. These tasks are often scheduled after the season. Like a farm, work never ends for the manager and his crew.
