Kara has a background in education and social services, and has been exploring the healing arts and energy medicine for most of her life. She completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training through YogaLife of NH, and is both a Certified Biofield Tuning Practitioner and a Reiki Master. She believes that a core tenet of health is finding and allowing oneself authenticity and joy.
For Kara, a major turn on this path was made when she finally listened to the persistent urge to paint! Her grandfather, Joseph Hunt, was also a painter and Kara has many special memories of times spent drawing and painting with him. He told her once, regarding creating art: "It's not what you do with your hands; it's what is inside of you."
