Learning Locomotion provides a caring, educational experience for your child. Infants, toddlers, preschoolers, pre-kindergarteners, school-age children, and even pre-teens are welcome to begin their educational journey with us. Children are placed in one of our five levels of care. Infants, aged six weeks to 13 months, are in the first level with lots of developmental toys and care.
Toddlers, 13 - 36 months, are next with lots of activities to engage them. Our preschool friends, ages three to four years old, begin learning how to behave in a classroom and begin learning the alphabet and more. In the final level we have our prekindergarten children. They are preparing to move on to kindergarten!

Services
Learning Locomotion is dedicated to starting your child on the road to learning success with our unique educational programs. We use the Houghton-Mifflin curriculum in our preschool and pre-kindergarten classrooms. Children are assessed using the Ages and Stages developmental tool to monitor progress.
Any school that's going to promote success must have good teachers and assistants. Learning Locomotion has an entire team of professionals to provide your child with enriching educational content in a safe, caring setting. Staff members are involved in the PTOs of Bangor, Easton, and Pen Argyl school districts.

Love this place! My kids are safe & happy here. They provide full meals including breakfast, lunch & snacks for my toddler daughter, and baby food & formula for my infant son which is a HUGE help. I get regular pictures of their daily activities & art work plus I get ‘progress reports’ on how they’re developing, what the teachers are doing to encourage growth & what I need to do as the parent to assist. Every day, when I pick up my toddler, I ask her if she had a good day at school and she says, “Yes”. The teachers ‘know’ my children. They know their individual schedules & personalities
