Met the owner, Kristen, when she was just starting out. New venture before different occasion cakes were even a thing. I'm a great admirer and follower on IG now as she's sustained her product, is consistently creative, adapting and years later continues to rock it. Her customers obviously love her products. I shopped online for Holiday cookie kits and they had a variety of budgets available. Kristin with A Cake Life was so easy to work with! There were so many back and forth emails about prices, pictures and recommendations that were provided and she was always quick

We used A Cake Life for our wedding desserts. We did the Amuse Dessert bar with cream puffs, mini lemon meringue tarts, cupcakes and a one tier cake. The flavors were magnificent. I only wish I could have eaten more of it all!! On top of the delicious treats, the staff was extremely responsive and accommodating to our scheduling needs.

We selected the wedding package at Sunset Ranch and A Cake Life was one of their preferred cake vendors. And we understand why! Not only was the cake aesthetically beautiful but it tasted amMmmazing too! We enjoyed their top 8 flavors during sample test, but ultimately went with their #1 top seller - Strawberry N' Cream. Delicious cakes for any occasion! Not only have I had the ability to taste these cakes at weddings that I photograph, I even hired them to make my daughters birthday cake! Not only are their cakes beautiful, but they taste AMAZING too! Don't forget to go in and schedule a cake tasting!

If you're looking for a wedding cake vendor, look no further. Before our wedding was postponed due to COVID, we met with Kristin for a cake tasting and she gave us her full attention (although we know how busy she is!) The bento cake tasting was the move as we got to try all of the possibilities! We went with the Amuse bar and 3 tiered cake, and everything was beautiful and delicious. So thrilled and happy with everything - thankful we got to have our dream beautiful, delicious cake!

I ordered cupcakes for my wedding in 2017 and they were absolutely amazing. I still dream about how delicious they were. Highly recommended!

They did a great job making my husbands birthday cake. It was a little heavy on the icing in my opinion but still yummy. Overall this was a great spot for a show stopping cake.

The best in Honolulu, hands down!! They offered to ship custom cookies for our rescheduled wedding (now off island) and we couldn’t be happier. They were super responsive and helpful throughout ALL of the craziness this last year. The cookies came out so beautiful and they took so much care to package them for shipping. The cake was decadent and divine. They deliver awesome customer service and even accommodated with a Monday pickup when they're normally closed. I arranged it all online after a few recommended home bakers cancelled. I'd definitely use them again, if the occasion arises when I return to Hawaii.

Absolutely delicious Yellow Butter cake with Fresh Strawberry cream filling, Smooth Clean White Buttercream Icing, Chocolate ganache drip, topped with assorted macaroons and fresh flowers. All the way from NYC TO HAWAII.

Wanted a cake for my hub's Yakudoshi. I'm not a dessert person so am probably a pain since I don't understand cake/dessert talk. Kristin and Gina, and everyone else I may have had to deal with, were very patient with me and accommodating.

Due to covid, didn't want a cake that was exposed to everyone else, and since we split the families into 2 different parties, couldn't have a half cut cake for the 2nd party. They made me a deer head topper, and then my last minute decision was to add on cake cups.

My wife ordered a cake for my mom's birthday this past Sunday. Semi-custom with the design (beads, coloring, message, etc.) and the flavoring. Only minor complaints were that it was really sweet and the high price. However, the cake was beautiful. Hands down it looked like a work of art. It was very impressive and we were all blown away by it.

I always knew that I wanted to order my wedding cake from here after I kept seeing people post about their wedding cakes on Instagram.

Given the pandemic, they were able to provide my now husband and I samples of cake so we could decide on the flavor for our wedding cake. Kristin was so punctual and great at getting back to us via email, especially during this crazy time. They worked with our budget AND our allergy

I purchased their cute food cookie kit for a cookie decorating class they were running and it was so much fun! The kit is awesome and comes with 12 cookies, 3 kinds of sprinkles and 4 piping bags of icing. Everything you need! It was super fun and something I would definitely do again!

Loved my covid19 birthday cake! Great taste and great details. This was the best cake ive ever had! In August, its my turn! So hopefully you'll be open still so I can order a cake!

I ordered a small gender reveal cake and sent a picture of how i wanted it to look. I was so happy when i picked up the cake it was beautiful and delicious! They definitely helped make my gender reveal more memorable. They worked with me through email and everything was perfect! Will use again! Thank you!
