My interest in becoming a Physician goes back to my childhood. I grew up in Iowa and developed a passion for two things. I knew that I wanted to help people and I absolutely loved playing football. In high school, I was an All-State linebacker for my school's State Champion football team (Go Spartans).
Comfort and convenience are the hallmarks of Arp Foot and Ankle's practice. To ensure your convenience below is the information you need about our hours, location, appointment scheduling, insurance acceptance and billing. Arp Foot And Ankle Clinic is located approximately mile on your left at 801 South College Street.
Heel pain is most often caused by plantar fasciitis, a condition that is sometimes also called heel spur syndrome when a spur is present. Heel pain may also be due to other causes, such as a stress fracture, tendonitis, arthritis, nerve irritation, or, rarely, a cyst. Because there are several potential causes, it is important to have heel pain properly diagnosed.
Custom orthotics are medical devices prescribed by a foot and ankle surgeon. These shoe inserts, which support and align the foot and lower extremities are designed to wear inside your shoes to correct biomechanical foot issues such as problems with how you walk, stand, or run. They can also help with foot pain caused by medical conditions such as diabetes, plantar fasciitis, bursitis, and arthritis.

Beware your payments you make to this office do not reflect on your statement you receive. Worst booking system I have ever heard of. Bills just keep coming. Last office visit to this place for me.

As a patient, I think Doctor Arp is the best when it comes to foot care. His surgical skills and knowledge of how to fix not only the cause but, the effect as well is key to his success. Thank you, Dr Arp!

It's been a little more than a year now since Dr.Arp repaired my foot. I had a bunion, a hammer toe with a corn on top, and the other toes were crooked. I'm just as happy today with the results as I was then. I still have to sit and admire my foot! I can walk so, so much better! Dr. Arp is one of a kind! I would recommend him to anyone who has foot problems.

When I was 14, June 2014, I had a bone spur in the tip of my big toe. My nail would grow into my toe and it was painful. Instead of solving the spur itself, Dr. Arp opted to remove the cuticle from the sides of my nail bed, so all these years later, it looks like a rock is growing out of my toe. It still grows into my spur but now I can’t even cut it because the nail is so bulbous and grows in sideways. I was a minor and so my opinion of the matter wasn’t considered, and now I have this ugly and obnoxious deformity.

On Tuesday morning, June 1, I called and chose option 2 to speak with the insurance coordinator. I ended up leaving a detailed message regarding a procedure I wanted done and asked for confirmation if my insurance would cover it and if not to quote me a cash price. Late Thursday afternoon, June 3, I had not received any call back after the completion of nearly 3 business days. I decided to write a Google review indicating I didn’t feel important to them. On Friday, June 4, Kim, the office manager, called me to discuss the review. She told me they had no voicemail from me. She told me they were

After 3 years of pain, I finally decided to change foot doctors and visited Dr. Arp in Harrison. In just a few minutes he told me what my problem was and what was needed to fix the situation. After a minor surgical procedure, I was walking without pain and without limping for the first time in 3 years!! Most impressed with the fact that Dr. Arp took the time to explain to me what my problem was in layman's terms, and why the procedure was necessary. I would highly recommend Dr. Arp and his friendly staff without hesitation.

Dr. Arp did surgery on my foot and all went very well. My only complaint was that he did not discuss what he would do or recovery time with me before hand. His staff is great and informative. I have the other foot that will need surgery soon and he is my man!

After a year and a half of severe pain and many doctors, I went to see Dr. Arp for a diagnosis. He immediately knew how to help me. He was straight forward and told me exactly what needed to be done. I was thrilled! On May 23, 2019, I had surgery that I needed on my left foot and then on November 21, 2019 I had surgery on my right foot. I feel like I have 2 new feet. I am still in the process of healing but I couldn't have asked for a better doctor and staff. Dr. Arp travels and learns new procedures to best help his patients. He is very positive, friendly and his staff is very welcoming. I highly
