**updating my review as next month will be 3 years since Dr atlas performed my ACDF surgery at Virtua at mt holly hospital. I feel like I did prior to my neck surgery (great!) and have had no residual symptoms what so ever. Dr Atlas, thank you so much for your skilled hands, your clear instructions post op and your caring staff and colleagues. I am still forever grateful that you gave me my life back!!
I am currently 5 days post op and the difference is amazing so far. He is extremely professional and skilled. I will never go anywhere else. Thank you Dr Atlas for helping me when I felt like there

Great doctor and staff. I was having excruciating pain down my leg 4 weeks ago that started suddenly after picking up my toddler. I was given Dr Atlas’ name by a friend, researched him, and asked a physician who he thought was the best Dr to see. He also told me to see Dr Atlas.
I called Dr Atlas’ office and was given an emergency appointment. I saw his PA and Dr Atlas who gave me steroids and physical therapy. After 5 days on steroids I was getting worse , called the office, saw Dr Atlas, who ordered a stat MRI. I was seen the following Monday with results of a large herniated disk and scheduled

I first met with Dr. Atlas at the height of the coronavirus pandemic.
I was received and operated on relatively quickly given that circumstance.
The operation was a surprising success, due to the glum nature of my injury
and the lack of medical options my insurance provided.
Several weeks later, I became capable of walking, standing, sitting, and performing the sort of activities my lifestyle requires.
This surgery eventually lent me a second chance at living a normal life.
Thank you,
-CF

I am a disabled vet who has seen the "best" surgeons on a referral basis and have had multiple multi-level fusions. ... and a seperate laminectomy discectomy prior to my first fusion.
Without question Dr Atlas was the best surgeon to work on me. He not only completed the fusion I went to him for, but also cleaned up the weak work done by a prior surgeon (an MD/PhD full professor at a MAJOR medical school).
All this at a local Burlington county hospital.. not in NYC or Philly.
I have had 4 surgeons work on my neck and back plus 3 minor surgeries and Atlas was clearly the smartest and most honest

I had two surgeries one on 5 February and one on the 8th from Dr. Atlas and it was the best decision I could’ve made for myself. I’ve been to a handful of doctors over the last eight years and I knew from the first visit that Dr. Atlas would be the one that was doing my surgery.Dr. Atlas gave it to me straight what I needed and how it needed to be done we did it and everything went perfect what an amazing doctor and an awesome staff thank you.Dr Ashleigh was also so professional and super nice

Dr Atlas is a very knowledgeable, skilled and caring Doctor. He spent Thanksgiving 2018 saving my life from a botched surgery preformed by another Doctor. I can never thank Dr. Orin Atlas enough for all he has done. Oh I can’t forget to mention the women at the front desk. They definitely know what they are doing, and are very Patient and take their time with me.
Thank you Dr Atlas and his staff.

Straight to the point, office staff is rude and incompetent at their job and Dr Atlas is worse. They never sent the information to the imaging center or the health insurance for approval of an MRI. My husband goes for a return visit after just XRays and Dr Atlas was a pompous JA and said basically my husband works so when he gets to the point it’s too painful to work then he can help him in the meantime he should just loose weight.
We find a different spinal dr whose office actually got the MRI approved and guess what?? My husband has a severely herniated disk that is impinging his nerves that’s

Had excellent experience with Dr Atlas. I was able to get an appointment right away and a MRI done which showed a piece of disc between L3&4 was impinging on the nerve to my left leg. Dr Atlas fit me into his busy surgery schedule four days later for a microdiscectomy. The excruciating pain in my left leg was gone and I was able to walk two miles the day after surgery. Six weeks later the back is healing well and I just began PT to strengthen my core. The office staff was extremely efficient and a pleasure to work with during the entire process.
