Services
City Shield provides an exclusive, highly adaptive force in six key areas: special event and venue security, critical infrastructure protection, district services, special operations, soft target protection, and workplace violence protection. We provide the right combination of armed agents, mobile patrols, high visibility officers, and on-site security components to address our clients security concerns and liabilities.
City Shield Security Services specializes in providing protective security solutions in an urban environment and within an entertainment context. This includes: high risk patrol, felony prevention, armed patrols, high visibility bike/foot patrols, as well as building and plant security officers, investigative services, and community engagement programs as needed.
City Shield operates under U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and U.S. professional sports league guidelines to ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for all guests. We currently service four professional sports leagues in Detroit, including the National Basketball Association (NBA), National Hockey League (NHL), Major League Baseball (MLB), and the Professional Golf Association (PGA).
Soft targets are crowded places including hospitals, houses of worship, shopping venues, schools, transportation systems, and sports venues. The nature of these facilities renders them accessible to large numbers of people, which can be a vulnerability without the correct security solutions in place.
City Shield's Special Operations Group is staffed by armed protective services agents with elite law enforcement and select military backgrounds. They specialize in providing armed executive, dignitary protection, rapid react teams for critical incident response and crisis management, workplace violence mitigation, and protection of houses of worship.

Very easy jobs, hardest part is staying focused and keeping yourself entertained. Kind of a learn as you go type deal. Repetitive tasks, quick to learn and get on a routine. Friendly co workers, managers are always there to help if needed, and are understanding of personal life. Would recommend.

This company is horrible I have never worked for a company with such low moral values in my life this company is toxic and mentally exhausting I was verbally assaulted on the job nothing was done I worked and I was not compensated for the hours that I worked

Very unorganized and unprofessional, poor management and leadership. No breaks, it’s a struggle to even get a bathroom break. Always short staff can’t go home on time because there’s no staff to relieve you. PLEASE DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME THEY DO NOT APPRECIATE THERE EMPLOYEES!!!

Unprofessional, don’t communicate, no training.
I only worked 4 shifts before deciding not to continue employment with this company. The manager made passive aggressive remarks about my child if I told her I was unable to work. Also, the final straw was when I showed up to my scheduled shift on a Saturday morning just to find out she thought she told me that I didn’t have to. I drive 40 minutes both way and have email confirmation that I was scheduled.

I have alwasy had faith in this company, ive ben working here for almost 3 years now. City Shield has come along way sence then. Great services, alwasy get paid on time. Plus a well organized leadership, which to me is most important. Alwasy treated with respect, and understanding. This is my family!.
