Dr. Scheer received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Creighton University in 1991 and has proudly served the Fremont Ne. area for over 25 years. Dr. Scheer is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and participates in the American Dental Society annual meeting and training courses. Along with general dental care we also are able to help with root canals and issues related to your gums.

Dr. Scheer was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He moved to Nebraska after graduating from SLUH in 1982. He completed his undergraduate studies at Creighton University in 1986, and graduated from the Creighton School of Dentistry in 1991 where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He and Judy were married in 1988 and moved to Fremont in 1991 after completion of dental school to start his practice.

I highly recommend Dr. Scheer's practice. Everyone who works there is always kind and easy to work with--from secretary, dental assistants, hygienists, and Dr. Scheer himself. I've been coming here for over 10 years and in that time I've had everything done--crowns, root canals, fillings, and cleanings. They are always efficient and try their best to be on schedule. I have had no issue getting work scheduled and when needed, repairs have been prompt and billing fair. I can't recommend this practice enough if you're in the area and need a gentle, intelligent dentist!

I used to hate going to the dentist when I was a kid. Hated it! Then, around the age of 10, my family started taking me to Scheer Family Dentistry and that changed everything. Everyone is so polite, professional, and friendly. This includes the receptionist, hygienists, and of course, Dr. Sheer himself. What used to be dread and apprehension in going to the dentist, has actually turned into something I look forward to! I am in the medical profession and will often recommend Scheer Family Dentistry to my patients . I am confident they will receive excellent care as Dr. Scheer has been my family's personal dentist for over 15 years. He and his clinical staff are very professional and kind. They are able do many things in house, which makes it much more convenient and cost effective for patients. The treatment is definitely top of the line.
As a side note- I don't think I've ever sat in the waiting room more than 10 minutes, which allows me to easily plan the rest of my day!

Our family has been going to Scheer Family Dental for 25+ years! He has been our kids only dentist and they were never frightened to go. In fact, our daughter used to get excited! We've been going to Dr. Scheer for almost 7 years now since we moved to Fremont. He and his staff are caring and honest. Dr. Scheer has been our family dentist for over 20 years. From the very first time we visited him, we knew he was going to be our dentist for a long time. I’ve been going to Scheer Family Dentistry for over 20 years. I met Dr Scheer when he moved to town but based on bad dental experiences in childhood I hadn’t been to the dentist in several years. I decided it was time to change that and scheduled an appointment with Dr Scheer’s office. My outlook on dental care and hygiene has completely changed because of the great experience and services provided at Scheer Family Dentistry.
