William was meticulous and precise, thorough and knowledgeable, and extremely thoughtful. He patiently and clearly answered all of our first-time-homebuyer questions, no matter how big or small. We left our home inspection feeling completely confident in our now far more informed decision and also like we now *really* know our soon-to-be new home. We, too, cannot recommend William Barnhart highly enough.

William did a great job listening and understanding my concerns with the house. We did a walkthrough and he explained solutions and gave insight to what was going on with certain fixes previous owners had done over the years. All in all it was a very helpful inspection that has given me the knowledge about how to best proceed in fixing our foundation issues as well as what to look out for in the future.

I have only had fantastic experiences with William Barnhart. I have used him personally and I have referred clients to him, who were very satisfied. William takes time to explain any concerns during the inspection as well as positives. He completes a thorough report that goes into great detail. I have had several clients reach out to him after the inspection and he is always willing to go into more detail to answer their questions. It’s also a HUGE bonus that William is a licensed civil engineer, giving buyers a since of security.

I hired Prairie River Engineering & Inspection to provide a verbal report on my crawlspace/basement foundation. I received a thorough verbal report at the time of inspection. William took time to answer all my questions. He looked at a bid I had received from a foundation company and explained what was critical and where I could opt out in order to reduce cost. He offered to look at additional bids I received, and he was true to his word. I was very pleased with the service I received. I highly recommend Prairie River Engineering & Inspection.

William is thorough and knowledgeable. I had general questions and wanted to plan for some projects relating to structure, etc. I also had some paperwork that a previous contractor failed to fill out. William went above and beyond to help and at no additional cost outside of our previous meeting. That is customer-centric thinking at its best! I will definitely call William first when I need another inspection.
