Burritos are great but recently the salsa has not been consistently good, not for the price. We go almost every Saturday and sometimes it’s amazing and sometimes (like today) it’s watery and tastes taste like old rotted salsa.

My favorite place for lunch and breakfast. The Chile Verde is authentic and delicious. Always great service and never has gotten my order wrong.

The breakfast burritos are huge and the brisket on the breakfast plate was tender & delicious. This was our first visit and the cashier was friendly and helpful in making food selections. There is a reason there is a line every morning. 😋

Always the best food. The booths are roomy, which is nice for a big guy like myself. Try the Chile Verde!

Good food. But when you call they answer and put the phone down so when you try to call back it’s busy. Then I went ahead and go In And order and this front desk girl asked if it was dine in or to go. Told her to go , gave me an attitude look. Food is great but customer service kinda sucks.

This place was wonderful! Real tortillas fresh food, authentic Mexican food. Fast service. Everyone was very friendly. I'm very excited to have found a good real burrito stop in Midland.

I have lived in Midland for the past several years and have been trying to find “the spot” to eat Mexican food. Well look no further Don Tomas is it. My wife and I ordered the Asado and Chile Verde. Both were excellent. Burritos are nice sized and reasonably priced too. Great job Don Tomas.

Friday, 11:20 am 10/22/2021. Food was good. However it was served cold. No condiments available. No forks available. I went up to the cashier. She was on the phone. She never even looked at me. She walked away. She didn't come back. I left. Pretty rude.

Messed up my order 3 times. Very rude and had an attitude trying to fix my order and misheard the order to begin. Found a hair in the food as well. Good food just horrible service with the people working.

Food was amazing, the service was smiling, friendly, and fast. I will be back. I can't remember how to spell what I ate but I will remember it on the menu. Now I'm just trying to get enough charters to post the 5 star review. Lol

It is hard to get some decent breakfast tacos in west Texas. So when I was brought to this place I was blown away their tortillas are amazingly good. I am from South Texas which if you don't know it's a very diverse place even though it's Texas. That being said coming to west Texas for work was different because the Mexican food is good just different. But I finally found a place that reminds me of home. With one minor set back. They don't call their tacos tacos. Not even the breakfast kind. They're called burritos. I don't care to me it's always gonna be a breakfast taco. But this place is a must

Great experience overall but prepare to wait a while 😉. This please is very popular especially on a weekend. We ended up getting "Brunch" burritos at around 11:30. Their lunch menu comes out at that time. I was really excited to try a Chile relleno burrito but they didn't have any :(. Ended up with a breakfast chorizo, papa and egg burrito which was huge and delicious. They also give you salsa with your orders. The tortillas are delicious soft and buttery. Must try!

Do it! For the burritos! I had the Chorizo potatoe burrito with cheese and avocado. Pretty good customer service,clean they did have long lines in the morning but because their good of course. Only negatives.. could use a bit more avocado in my burrito and some more smiles.

The best Chile Verde I've ever had! Soooooo good. Quality meat and ingredients. Pretty pricy tho - Chile verde lunch plate and drink was $15. Gonna be hard finding a place better than this! I never leave reviews but this place deserved one.

We had the chili verde and ground beef and potatoes burritos. They were delicious and huge !

I love this place. Great service and great food. I always get the chile verde burrito, some times I add beans and cheese to it.

Good food, always late when pick up! Always! 100% of the time. Even if you try to go after the time frame they gave you. Keep in mind they are always late. Service is slow and not the best one. But again food is great.

You guys. This place is YUMMY! The options for burritos all seem enticing. Prices seemed steep, but holy cow! This is the biggest west Texas burrito I've ever seen in my life! Texas literally goes big or goes home and Don Tomás Cafe took that to the next level. Oh and guys their salsa they give you for the burritos is to die for! So so sooooooo GOOD! If you're ever in the area, give this place a try.

The asado is delicious and always fresh! I highly recommend the menudo as well. All of the breakfast burritos have been amazing . Call ahead to order , bc it does get crowded .

Wanted to try the menudo but I was disappointed coz it was more like hominy soup. And there was no meat. For 12 bucks they need to do better.

I hope that Adrianna read this update. Those stars should have been 4 out 5 from day one. I am not sure why it kept showing a 1 Star. If that was the case we'd never gone back. We can't stay away.

Great burritos I've had different ones every time we go. Sometimes not on purpose, as in they beg my order completely wrong and I end up with a different burrito. Like I ordered a chorizo egg cheese and I got home to a bean egg potato cheese. It's ok cause they're all delicious but not what i ordered.

My boyfriend gets their large menudo he always says there's more pozole in it then actual menudo. He also says it's spicy which he loves. Comes with one piece of bread which if we were both eating it, it would've been an issue but he was good with it.

Every single thing is fabulous!!! Love it!!! Haven't tried a bad thing thus far. Love the asadero - super spicy. The asado and Chile verde are great.

One of my favorite things about a restaurant is when they don't restrict you to the breakfast menu at breakfast time. I'm not a huge breakfast person.

With that being said, even though the restaurant is small the food is well worth your time. I ordered Asado and Chile Asadero and both tasted excellent. The staff were very nice and the place is clean too.
