Starved Rock Yacht Club (SRYC) is a members-only boat club located just up-river from Starved Rock State Park, accessible from Dee Bennett Road, west of Naplate. We're privileged to be located along one of the most beautiful spots on the Illinois River between the bluffs of Buffalo Rock and, of course, beautiful Starved Rock.

Being a "private club" doesn't mean we're exclusive or unwelcoming. To the contrary, our structure, membership - and ownership - are keys to what makes SRYC such a great place to visit. Everybody contributes their unique skills - a formula that's worked since the Club's humble beginnings.
Services
SRYC is something special. Our view of the ever-changing river helps remind us to embrace each weekend and every season. The surrounding land, sculpted by glaciers thousands of years ago, symbolizes the permanence of our established and venerable organization. While not documented until recently, our Mission and Core Values have shaped the Club's culture for nearly 80 years.
Become part of our family-friendly club located on the Illinois River west of Ottawa, IL. Our perfect location is next to Buffalo Rock State Park and across the water from Starved Rock. We've grown over the years by welcoming new members and working hard to keep membership affordable. Annual dues: $350/year and $100/year for entertainment fee (8 tickets for use at SRYC dinners throughout the year).
An association of 20 boat clubs spanning the entire length of the Illinois Waterway, from Calumet to Grafton. Known for annual events such as Winter Games (February) and Miss Riverbottom (June), the IRBBA works to foster boater safety, education and environmental preservation up and down the river.
