H-D of WV began as Dennis Harley-Davidson when Harley-Davidson of Charleston was purchased by Dennis Di Filippo in 1974. At that time, the dealership was located on Sissonville Road. In 1979, he purchased the old Crown Supply shop on MacCorkle Avenue, where we are still located today! In 1985, Dennis Harley-Davidson became incorporated and the name was changed to Harley-Davidson of West Virginia, Inc.
That same year, the Kawasaki franchise was added. New showrooms were added, a new service department, new offices, and our Fat Bob's Roadhouse Diner! My, how things change! Remember when.? We went from no awning to the brown awning, and then we stayed with the red awning until our 1996 expansion. Both pictures feature bikes lining up for a ride!

We just closed on a 2020 CVO Street Glide with Travis and Tracy. I would recommend working with these two if you are interested in an honest, responsive and professional experience. Travis worked hard to answer all of our questions and reach a fair deal. Tracy put the package together and got the paperwork wrapped up quickly. My wife and I will be reaching out to them first when the next motorcycle itch needs to be scratched!

I have purchased 2 bikes from this dealership from 2 different locations and have always had a pleasant experience but this time going for a 3rd purchase it wasn't as good as the past I was told trade value was half due to the mileage than what it was when I checked it was almost 2 times what they said it was worth and I paid them 3 times that much for it and i've only put 1200 miles on it what would mileage have to do with it when I said that about the 1200 miles he said you bought it here I think you have us confused with another dealership well I think maybe I do have my wires crossed and will

I was very happy with my first purchase here. However, I’m very disappointed with my most recent purchase of a 2008 Rocker with 17xxx miles on it. I was told at purchase the bike had been serviced. After getting it trailered home in March, I discovered the oil was black and had not been changed. Shortly after 2 short local rides, vent line started leaking and voltage regulator went out. I fixed it. Now the oil pressure light is on and I replaced the switch to no fix whatsoever. All this occurred in less than 300 miles.

Sales team very disrespectful. Not willing to help at all with price inquiries over the phone. Called about a 2020 Street Glide CVO wanting to get a rate over the phone. The rep acted like I was speaking a different language when I asked for cash price out the door. Buy your Harley elsewhere. Not getting my business.

Avoid the service department. Completely unorganized from setting the appointment to pick up.
Instead of making the customer feel valued they acted like they were doing me a favor. I needed a set of wheels installed on my motorcycle. The tires were already mounted and balanced. The wheels just needed installed. About a 3 hour job at the most. I was never given a quote for the job just a time to bring it in. Once I arrived (Wed morning at opening time)they didn't know how to input the service I requested into their system. They then said they would try to fit me in to Wednesday's schedule

We did some Harley hopping while headed home from a trip.
This shop has a great little cafe and a friendly staff. They have some great clothing and some beautiful inventory for your two- wheeled needs.
As usual, restroom facilities were spotless. It's how you end up with a selection of HD clothing: each restroom stop one of you finds something you cannot live without!
And actually that's how friends of ours wound up with a new bike. Gotta be careful, sometimes those beautiful bikes grab you!
