We had HDA for about 2 years and everything was good up until the beginning of this year. They used to be really good at responding when the alarm system would go off but now they don't even call if the alarm goes off. Usually they would call through the intercom or give you a phone call to make sure everything was ok or if they needed to dispatch 911. Thank goodness it's only been on accident but if it was a real emergency then you can't count on them. I just recently switched over to another company and it hasn't even been 2 weeks since we canceled with them and they are already

Critical: Professionalism, Quality
Ever since they change personal and I believe the owner of the company put someone else in charge we are not getting the same monitoring. They don’t call you when the alarm goes off and they take a long time to answer the phone, I started looking for new company that appreciates my bussines.

Wife has had them over ten years. We are currently out of town and our business appears unarmed. We called support. Told us it’s not them but a 3rd party app that supports us and they can’t tell if it’s armed. We PAY Hi desert Alarm monthly. (Not a 3rd party) BEYOND LAME! But they have been for years. Serious problems at the top. (Melanie, or whatever her name is) They just LOST our business because they are even WORSE than they were 10 years ago.

We are very disappointed with this company. I have been doing business with Hi-Desert Alarm since the early 2000's. They currently monitor my office buildings fire alarm and recently i had them install a security camera system in one of our suites to detour crime on a building we've owned since 2005. When the technicians were in the attic pulling cable for the cameras they broke a sewer vent pipe and knocked down a ceiling speaker. We fixed the speaker but did not know about the broken vent pipe until recently when the tenant complained about a horrible sewage smell throughout the office. We had

Called 4 times kept notes on who we talked to. We even said if you don't want the work just say so because we need our system back in operation as soon as possible and we already spent two weeks talking to two different people in the office they said we will call tomorrow that was a week ago. I called four times that is it. I will try Apple Valley Communications see how that goes.

Excellent family owned company. Available on call technician always. These guys go above and beyond. You can go with a company like ADT where the tech is some joe blow "slam your alarm system in" sub contractor getting paid per job. I'll stick with Hi Desert Alarm where I'll recognise the faces that come to my door if I have an issue:)

I had them install an alarm system and access control system in my business. They are an amazing company. Every time I call, they answer my call right away and answer any question I throw at them. Their monitoring service is great! They call me before I can even clear out the alert on my phone. The rates are very reasonable. I had Tyco before HDA, and their service was nothing even comparable to HDA. I highly recommend this company for anyone looking to upgrade their existing security system. Beware of this company. After cancelling their service, their service technician came to my business to remove their equipment and deliberately destroyed the new alarm system equipment installed by my new company. I had to pay significant expenses to repair the damage at my business caused by their technician willfully destroying my property. Even after discussing this with the company, they are still insisting on collecting an early termination fee and are now threatening legal action to collect their fee. It's shocking to see a business behave in this manner.
