The Sonoma County Herb Association received it's non profit status as a 501c3 in 1993.
Since then we have become a vibrant part of the Sonoma County agricultural and healing communities. We are an eclectic group of herbalists: herb growers, medicine makers, educators, practitioners, gardeners and students. Our membership is concentrated in Sonoma County, but includes herbalists throughout Northern California and beyond.

Join the Sonoma County Herb Association! We not only connect growers and makers, but we are one of the oldest organizations that educate people on the mindful and sustainable use of medicinal herbs. As the popularity of herbalism continues to grow, we are one of the few suppliers of fresh and local herbs.
In this Autumnal presentation Ryath will share tips and techniques for finding, identifying, & harvesting popular (and not-so-popular!) mushrooms, covering anatomy, ecology, & seasonality. Toxic species and look-alikes will also be addressed.
Ryath will also weave in ideas on how mushrooms can entice us into deeper acts of ecological participation, how applied mycology through the lens of foraging can be regenerative, reciprocal & enriching for the mushrooms and their ecosystems as well as our bodies, health, and spirits!

Herbal, nutritional, flower essence & companion animal consultations since 1985. Workshops include both on-going & 1 day classes with topics from Herbal First Aid to 10 Month Apprenticeship. Becka Sheranian has offered herbal classes to midwives, doulas, and expecting families for over 35 years.
Blessingway provides organic birthing tinctures and baby care products as well as classes packed with practical how-to information focused on pregnancy, labor & birth, newborn care, well woman and well baby care.Classes are helpful to both caregivers and birthing families. We teach herbal medicine from a Native American, energetic perspective.
