I was online in a financial planning forum one day. One of the postings was from a young gentleman who lived out west and worked as a ranger for the U.S. Parks Service. Simply, he wanted to know how much he would have to save each year to have $5,000,000 at age 70, his planned retirement age. He indicated that he was 29 years old, made a modest salary, but was willing to sacrifice to reach his stated goal.
At Supporting Your Choices, we treat every client like the unique individual they are. We work diligently to get to know our clients so that we can structure an investment plan that is specifically suited to their goals and requirements. That said, we do want to share with you our general philosophy and approach to investing.
We encourage all of our clients to begin with a macro goal funding plan: this is what I want, this is what I have, this is what I save. Will it work? And if so, how do we need to invest to maximize our probability of success? Hourly - We provide our services on a hourly basis depending on the clients' needs.
A client's relationship with their financial advisor is a very personal relationship. Many clients discover that they disclose their thoughts, their dreams, and their concerns more fully to their financial advisor than any other advisor. That is why we believe that it is important that the client and advisor be a "good fit."
