Asia Grocers
Asia Grocers sells produce direct from the source and has been a family owned business serving the community since 1996. We know that the only items we carry are healthy, clean nutrients that we select ourselves. We sell cilantro (coriander), fenugreek leaves (methi), toor dal lentils, sona masoori rice, atta flour, basmati rice, Indian bitter melon and much much more.

With these ingredients, you have the starting point for nutritious meals that have been enjoyed in India for thousands of years. In the summer we grow many items locally. Fresh from the farm to your stove, it's nourished and shared with human hands.

Absolutely loved the store. I was able to find every item from India. The veggies were really fresh and there were plenty of varieties to choose from. Very cleanly maintained.

I came in here looking for Asian food products and found maybe a few Asian items. This place is called Asian groceries but YET all they have is 99% Indian based foods. The name of this place is very deceiving. Only thing I walked out with was rice paper they didn’t even have the basics like nori seasoning 🤦🏽‍♀️

Good South Asian grocery and fresh produce. The biggest store in the state .Fresh produce every day. Freezer section and spices section filled with different varieties but most of them are over priced than other stores. There is price tag only for 50% of the items. So we have to find some one to ask the price. Popular items like coconut ,fish and spices price increase every time I visit. Checkout and parking is easy . If you're a budget friendly ,it's not the place to shop!

My mom and I just went into the Asian grocery in Cromwell because for mom it was a blast from the past! We wanted to see how things have changed. They have really expanded and we got wonderful advice on Indian foods to try cooking this week. We learned about Indian Bitter Melon and how to prepare it from Reynold, ( I am assuming he’s the owner ) what a great guy!

One of the best Indian grocery store in Connecticut. Very king employees, they have everything we need.
They always have fresh vegetables, but they should label all items. Much more easier when someone speak Gujarati.

A very spacious well stocked store. Helpful staff. It's quiet a drive for me to get here, but this is probably the only store in the Hartford area that has all what you want especially if you are looking for things from Southern part of India.

Was shopping in the area looking for stores to go to and decided to check for asian groceries and this business came up. It was a couple miles away so we thought why not, and went to check it out. The store es at bank front the road a little so it was kind of hard to see. Large parking lot but not too many cars there. So, the reason for three stars - we went in the hopes of finding a variety of asian foods, but found that the store had only food from the country of India. If we were shopping for this type of food, I would give the store 4 stars, but they had no other area for groceries

Expired items are sold.
Last week we purchased Lays chips.
We were not able to see the manufactured date and expired date because of "Nutrition Facts sticker " was sticked on top of the mfg date label.
By removing the "Nutrition fact sticker" we got to know it was expired one month back.
Please be careful with expired products.

These guys are the best! They have an incredibly deep inventory with a wide variety of choices of quality products. A member of their staff asked if I needed help finding things and proceeded to walk me around the store to find what I was after. He asked clarifying questions and offered several options to choose from. Really a pleasant shopping experience and I'll be sure to give them another try.

I recently rediscovered my love of Indian food. My mother's curiosity has created a buzz in our family. In the last two weeks we have visited two restaurants and two stores. That being said, we decided to check out Asia Grocers today, in Cromwell.

Asia Grocers is set back from the road, in a large building with plenty of parking. The store is brightly lit with large amply spaced aisles. The entire left and back walls are lined with freezer and refrigerator cases. The first aisle is produce, some standard veggies and fruit, but mostly things that you wouldn't find in your common

Asia Grocers in Newington moved to Cromwell, CT. They are even BIGGER now! It's run by a friendly bunch of people and the hep is fantastic. They have a large variety of Asian ethnic foods and their specialty is Indian. Nice fresh produce section. I wish them the best of luck in their new location.

Please don't go to this location. Horrible customer service. Rotten food and no prices displayed. On top of that they sell broken electronic items and refuse to take them back. They were not even willing to do an even exchange. I will not be returning to this place again.

Everything you need for your masala tin right here. I picked up a few spices that just
aren't available at a regular supermarket.

Hot samosas were available under a heated lamp. They looked very good.

I am really happy to discover this place. There is a great selection of spices, legumes, and other dry goods that would cost significantly more at mainstream supermarkets if they are available at all. There is a more limited selection of fruits and vegetables but I was very happy with the mangoes that I purchased. Although this is an Asian market, there are all the familiar brands that are staples in many West Indian and African households.

This store is big and you will get almost all kind of your need but maximum items are not good quality.
Maximum item are 2nd grade quality. Last week got one bag rice with full of stone with rice. Once I realize that the rice is not good and asked for that then they told we can't return.
Today I got one bag of Mango and after came back home once we cut it, all are not good and I had to throw. So immediately I called but they told we can't return.
Also the attitude of the employee and owner are too bad.

In business and serving the Asian community since 1996, Asia Grocers caters to the taste-buds of Indian, American, Chinese, Thai and more.

With locations in Newington, East Windsor, and Bloomfield- this family owned business imports fresh vegetables weekly and grows seasonal vegetables on their Windsor, CT and Florida farms.

The courteous service and very helpful associates has me coming regularly. Rey Palazhi and his team are not only friendly and polite but very knowledgeable.

Offering a wonderful variety and quantity in goods, Asia Grocers carries a great collection of vegetables, dal

Easily the best mango's I have gotten in a long time. I usually buy by the case at a very reasonable $6. Other prices for produce are very good, there isn't a ton of other things that I would get other than the produce at this point but I am still learning. It is usually kind of crowded here even if they are slow, there isn't a great set up and only one cashier working every time I have been here but I can't deny the amazing farm stand prices for veggies and fruits.

Asia Grocers is a great alternative to ADong's because the prices are often cheaper. They carry tons of Indian food.

I find they are reasonable for frozen Indian meals if you are on a gluten -free diet. Many of the Indian items are at least $0.50- $1 less than ADong.

The store is often cluttered as they associates are constantly restocking the shelves. I see that as a plus because that means the turnover rate is a def plus.

I discovered this store while looking for rose water and found it for half the price other stores sell them for.

One downside of this store is that the produce
