Bay Optical Laboratories
We do recommend anyone who is more susceptible to illnesses, or who have any flu-like/cold symptoms(cough, fever, breathing difficulties, etc.). Please either come in when feeling better or have someone else come in on your behalf. If you have concerns about entering for either picking up glasses/lenses or are needing adjustments please contact us at 541-756-2571 to make other arrangements.

Our opticians can adjust glasses for a better fit, do emergency repairs, mount existing lenses into a new frame, or solder a broken frame while you wait. Bay Optical Lab' spacious office has over 800 frames and sunglasses on display to satisfy anyone's style. You are free to try on as many frames as you like and take as long as you need.
Services
Bay Optical Lab first opened its doors in 1970, started by John Flaxel MD, Robert Klever OD, and later joined by Arthur Steele MD. It originally occupied a small office at the corner of Virginia and Mead in North Bend. As both the optical and clinic grew the need for more space was apparent. In 1979 Bay Eye Clinic and Bay Optical Lab moved to their current location at 3585/3587 Broadway in North bend.
1. Education: We want you to be aware of the types of frames and lenses available to you and which will work best with your prescription. There are many specialty lenses made for computers, sports, swimming, sun wear, and safety. One pair of glasses may not take care of every situation. Discuss the use of the glasses with your optician before making that important decision.
Even though we wear glasses to improve our vision we also want to look good while wearing them. To help with this, Bay Optical Lab carries frames in a wide assortment of styles and colors. No matter what your style we have the frame for you. Don't see one you like? Ask your optician about ordering frames in for your approval.

Service, craftsmanship, products...all superior to any similar business in metro regions. My over 20 years of satisfied results keeps me as a loyal patron, even though now I am a struggling senior receiving very minimal medical assistance. I have been saving money from my social security for over 3 years, and will be ready ( by the end of next year, 2019) to finally be able to afford an exam and new lenses and frames. YAY .I can't wait till I can see clearly again.
