Bacon Group, Inc., is a general practice architectural firm founded in 1991 by Richard S. Bacon, who serves as its president and principal architect. Originally called The Bacon Design Group, the firm is located in Clearwater in Pinellas County, in the Tampa Bay area of Florida.

Services
Bacon Group has spent more than 25 years designing buildings that not only look beautiful, but also bring quantifiable results for our clients. Within six months of opening their new facility, Atlanta Humane Society nearly doubled their adoptions, showing how a beautiful environment can bring attention to a worthy cause.
In the area of design for animal care facilities, which is a specialty of ours, Bacon Group's role can be as the prime architect, project manager and architect of record or as a consultant to a locally-based architect, or as an owner's representative. As all of these roles, we have worked collaboratively with many locally-based architects.
With broad experience in architecture, including management of design and production departments, Rick's portfolio includes designs for private and government clients with expertise in design for animal care facilities, transportation, and emergency services. He is a LEED Accredited Professional and has additional education in ADA compliance design, roofing systems, design/build project management and mediation.
