Baugher's Orchard has been a working fruit and vegetable farm since 1904. Edward and Romaine Baugher purchased 60 acres of land from Edward's parent's farm from his siblings when they passed away in the 1930's. They expanded the farming efforts, developed improved methods of operating and survived the Great Depression because of their frugalness and business savvy.
Our Orchard & Farm Market is located three miles west of Westminster, Maryland, on the corner of Maryland Highway 140 and Baugher Road. Look for the Apple Man sign, drive up the hill on Baugher Road and follow signs to our parking lots. Baugher's Orchard and Farm Market has over 600 acres of fruits, vegetables, and activities!
Our annual Pumpkin pick-your-own, every weekend in October, is an experience full of family farm fun! I had the fried chicken breast and have had it several times before just not in the past year and ok that it was smaller portion but I literally couldn't eat more then half of 1 because it was way to salty and the only way I was able to get that down was with gravy and a big bite of mashed potatoes at the same time! My other half had the turkey special and that it was special, old and dry not even the gravy could help it and stuffing was just bland. However the rolls were hot and awesome and the corn bread was to die for and warm as well. The service was great til near the end when I told our server

Great market. The food is real down home cooking with a large menu. We came as Senior group and were safely placed in a nice separate room. Our server was superb, even remembered some of us and our usual orders. I was recommended the hot Turkey sandwich. It had peices of light and dark meat from an in house roasted bird with great gravy and real fresh made French fries. Fantastic!
