I started in tile as a helper in 1996, just after my 18th birthday. Looking for a way out of landscaping, I picked up the tile trade quickly. Over the years I learned the back end of the business: sales, estimating, management, customer service, and many other facets of remodeling - growing a two-person operation to a crew of forty in Boise, Idaho.

I can’t more highly recommend Coast to Coast Tile and Stone. Chris and his team went above and beyond, especially in such a trying time (…pandemic and all). Always on time, always quick, and always professional. And never having done this before, Chris was especially patient with all of my dumb questions and held our hands through the process - which I greatly appreciate. They also had the challenge of making a tiny closet of a bathroom look like something out of a magazine and they made that happen. It’s our favorite room in our house. Chris was an absolute delight to work with from beginning to end. We own an old 1915 home in NE Portland and had an old walk in fiberglass shower that we wanted replaced with tile. Chris was quite responsive every step of the way, addressing every question and concern promptly and fully. He also would do little things like let us know when he was about to arrive and when he was done for the day. We are absolutely thrilled with the end result. Since the job formally ended we have asked him to come back on one occasion to fix something with the glass door (not his fault - a minor defect in the product
