Services
Kittleman seeks to enhance the ability of nonprofit organizations and institutions to achieve their stated purposes by finding leaders with the passion, vision and fortitude to make a difference in the lives of those they serve. Our goal is to recruit the best candidates available in the most reasonable amount of time using best-practice search standards and technology while providing the most cost effective results.
Established in 1963, Kittleman is the nation's first executive recruitment firm exclusively serving nonprofit organizations. We developed many of the best practices in the field of nonprofit executive recruitment. Hundreds of nonprofit organizations across the country have benefited from the front line expertise of Kittleman's search consultants, all of whom have had proven nonprofit leadership experience prior to joining the firm.
Most of the searches we conduct for nonprofit organizations are for the President/Chief Executive Officer/Executive Director. As such, we have gained considerable expertise in partnering with governing boards and search committees in conducting a successful recruitment process. In a search engagement, each of us bring something valuable to the table.
To prepare for the search, we conduct a brief organizational assessment. Typically, this assessment is done on-site. Through a series of conversations with board members, senior staff and key stakeholders we develop a thorough understanding of the organization, its priorities, key issues and culture.
Over the years, search committees have asked us to share our knowledge about what makes for a successful search. Here is what we know, why we know it and why it is going to save you time during your search. Is it typical to reimburse the travel expenses of candidates whom we select for an interview?

Report
I visited here for a job interview in the nonprofit sector. The view is spectacular from this high up in the Willis Tower. Friendly and professional staff are all on board at Kittleman.
