We started Alpha Divers in 2017 and since our first day in business, we've been bringing the best selection of products and merchandise to our customers. Our name has become synonymous with quality throughout the entire East Tennessee area. Located near downtown Knoxville, we are conveniently located between I40 and I-640 in the Kroger Shopping Center on Broadway St.
We do our best to provide the best training possible and are constantly striving to offer more courses to fit every divers needs. We offer recreational, technical, and professional scuba diver training, as well as free diver courses. We train with both RAID and PADI agencies.

Services
Dive the N. Florida springs with us. We will be diving 3 / 4 different springs in 3 days. We will camp Thursday, Friday and Saturday night and depart for home after our dives on Sunday. Hotel options available. We will dive the springs Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We will depart from Knoxville Thursday morning and drive to Florida to set up camp at vortex springs.

Completed my PADI Open Water Diver certification with Alpha Divers last weekend. It was an incredible class! Fred is an amazing instructor and keeps all the classes very fun and makes sure you understand all the knowledge requirements and skills thoroughly. One of the most important aspects of their class is that by the end you feel confident underwater! Fred emphasizes the "stop, think and act" mentality and remaining in control underwater. After taking the course with Fred, I feel prepared to not only perform at a high level as a diver but also confident to overcome obstacles I may encounter

I recently decided to scratch an item off my bucket list and become open water certified to scuba dive (I took an Intro To Scuba course, years ago, in Hawaii, but wanted to go to the next level). First, I'd like to say that my instructor, Fred Schiller, was excellent! He was a little intimidating, initially. He's bald with a goatee, covered in tattoos and from New Jersey, and just a wee bit brash (Did I mention he's from New Jersey??) Took the open water class with my 13 year old daughter, the instruction was absolutely top notch. There were over a dozen students between the 3 days in the water and Danny and Fred knew everyone"s areas to work on. It was incredibly personalized, educational, and worth every penny. They took all the time needed to work every single person through the process. Not only are we both now Certified Padi "Alpha" divers, but we will be Alpha diver customers for life. The Alpha Divers staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I’m an instructor and have done many dives in many different places and Alpha Divers without a doubt has the highest quality rental gear and staff. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to learn scuba diving from the beginning, to those who are looking further their diving knowledge.
