Located in the heart of Denver, Ironworks is an event venue that is rich in history, meticulous in design and genuine with hospitality. Established in 1903, the Ironworks building was included in the Midwest Steel and Ironworks Complex. Ironworks at one time provided the drafting needs for the metal fabrication next door (now Mile High Station).
With over 6,900 square feet of historic event space, we cater to those that know the value of hard work. So, whether your occasion calls for duty or celebration, we will work as hard as you do to provide a layout that fosters sit down affairs, corporate events, weddings, receptions, and other reasons to gather.

Services
Part of the Midwest Steel fabrication complex, Ironworks served as their international drafting and business center. The original building, the Midwest Steel and Ironworks, dates back to the turn of the century (1903). At that time the building was a Denver landmark, serving as the headquarters for the drafting and operations of Midwest Steel.
Whatever the event, Ironworks can accommodate your next gathering and offers character and a rich history that is unmatched throughout Denver. This historic structure, once employing hundreds of iron-workers, has been completely restored in a "Denveresque" theme and offers you a landmark venue for your event.
Step up your pregame festivities with an endless brunch buffet in an atmosphere not to be missed. Located just south of Empowered Field at Mile High Stadium this is the perfect spot to nurse your hangover or just get your grub on. Not to mention there are over 16 TVs and the NFL ticket to watch your stats for your Fantasy Football team.
Both Mile High Station and Ironworks are single event venues. Our venues are 100% dedicated to events. The venues are available for rental day or night, with additional set up time as an option. It is important to our clients that they feel as they have a choice in the vendors that they select for their event.

DON’T BOOK WITH THIS VENUE.
My fiancé and I had an appointment for a wedding walk through with Ironworks/Mile High Station. We called to confirm before our appointment. The event/sales assistant (Kate) told us to wait for her right outside the building. It seemed strange to meet outside in winter when we could just meet inside. Nevertheless, when we arrived no staff was present and all the doors to the building were locked. We waited almost 20 minutes outside before calling it quits.
I called management (Melissa) and left a voicemail to let her know they missed our appointment. She never called

We booked our October 2020 wedding with Ironworks in January 2020, before the impacts of COVID were fully felt in the United States. Sarah Howley, Senior Event and Sales Manager, for Ironworks has been compassionate and understanding throughout the entire process of postponing and rescheduling our wedding date. As we contemplated moving forward with a wedding date in 2020, Sarah scheduled frequent calls with me to provide updates on the venue and restrictions in Colorado. When we ultimately chose to postpone our 2020 wedding, Sarah reassured us that our deposit would rollover to any future date

We are planning our June 2022 wedding here. I cannot say enough about how thoughtful and generous the staff have been, especially working with Stephanie through the pandemic.
We moved our 150-175 person wedding not once, not twice, but 3 times, from June 2020- Sept 2021- to now June 2022- They didn't charge us each time because we moved early in advance. They have made a difficult situation much easier, and we appreciate it! Highly recommend booking at this beautiful and historic location for your next event.

This was originally our top pick but it was obvious they didn’t care if they got our business. We are having a small wedding of about 30 people. Maybe that’s not enough revenue for Ironworks?
We did a walk through on a Saturday and were told we would be sent a quote for the venue and the vendors. Knowing it was the weekend and they were really busy , I gave it a few days. I reached out a few days later to see if they had a chance to get us a quote. I was sent a quote and was told they would need to charge the $2k alcohol charge for 30 people. Even though that’s a lot we still really liked

I went here for a company holiday party.
It's VERY swanky inside. Our theme was Great Gatsby, and I think Ironworks fit that aesthetic perfectly. It's not a very large space, but there are two floors for people to use. There are tastefully decorated restrooms on both floors along with an elevator. The main bar wraps around a whole wall, it was very nice to look at. There is also a smaller bar upstairs.
The bar staff could have been supplemented for the holiday party. People were waiting approximately 5-10 minutes for a new drink, so I think one or two extra bartenders would have been
