Services
Public skating at the SLCC is free and open to all ages. Open skate is generally every weekend with a few exceptions when there are large events at the Civic Center. There are also extra public skating sessions around the holidays. See the public skating calendar below for specific details. Please note that you must bring your own skates as there are no onsite skate rentals; however, we do have skate sharpening services.

Ice rinks are cold...keeps the ice from melting, but if you want to stay warm you can watch games, or skaters from the heated lobby. Yes Tyler it smells bad when a few hockey teams open up their hockey bags. It's not trash, and fortunately it's confined to the locker rooms. They have vending machines, a great snack bar, skate sharpening, clean restrooms, and overall a very nice rink.

What A dump! Went there for CANAM tourney, and was extremley disspointed. First off it smelled horribly like they didn't take the trash out for days! Secondly I think the AC to keep the ice iced was broken because the rink part was like a meat locker! It was the coldest rink ever! It's a shame such a great tournament uses such a dumpy rink
