My friend Charlene’s favorite shop. It is the most interesting store in Chatham. Super cool jewelry and very interesting art. You can find unique items. Very well priced reasonable items. Everyone finds something to bring home. It is a good place to buy presents.

They have amazing items from other countries like flower pots and small trinkets and I love the jewelry options. They have so many items that I've never seen anyplace else. A must visit when in Chatham and worth a visit to Chatham solely to visit this shop.

I've been frequenting Yankee Ingenuity for years & I've always been a huge fan of this store! If you like shops with fun, funky, eclectic mixes objects - you'll LOVE it here.
They have a wide range of jewelry, home decor, knick-knacks, fossils, books, kitchen goodies, and gifts for everyone! I swear, I find something new every time I shop here :)

What a great little shop, with quite a wide array of quality items from... I can always guarantee I'll find the perfect gift for just about anyone (and usually can't resist getting myself something as well. One for you, one for me type of shopping!) They even have some comical items, these dishtowels definitely made me laugh!

This funky little shop has been here forever! It's really a neat place and a must visit for me when I'm in Chatham. It's centrally located on Chatham's quaint Main Street.
I'd say they have items for almost all budgets here.
They sell home decor, earrings, glassware, greeting cards, decorative pocket knives, cool socks, beautiful photos of the Cape, clocks, inexpensive coin purses, signs and SO MUCH MORE!
My personal favorite is the jewelry, they often have some very eclectic items!

A reliable shop to find fun gifts for loved ones or yourself. Reasonably priced art, jewelry, greeting cards, and variety of gifts from practical to comical. New handicap accessible walkway (pictured) but beware that the inside of the store is small as are most of the shops on Main Street in Chatham.

My all time favorite place for Jewelry. The owner is very nice and the pieces in her store are very unique. I've loved jewelry all my life but recently I've been struggling to find unique pieces shopping at this store has really restored my love. I get compliments all the time on my earrings that I get from there! Because I love it so much I went And bought my friend a few pieces from there for her birthday! You won't regret going there!

Though Chatham is full of gifty artisan shops, this one has a bit of a sense of humor about it. There's a bit of an edge. I actually spent the most time in this shop and I spent a good bit of time chuckling at some of the crazy stuff I saw. Lots of stuff with slightly humorous sayings - you know the bad puns?
I didn't buy anything. Do I really need to hang up a shellacked horseshoe crab shell? Or a picture of a duck that says "Shut the duck up". But it was fun to walk around and look.

The man who owns or manages this store (John?) is great. His pictures are incredible and my parent's house is full of them. She bought me one as a gift this year which was so special. John assisted us at the register and had it shipped in a timely manner to San Francisco. He even scanned a page from his book explaining the story behind the picture which was a really nice touch! Who does that when their store is super super busy in the summer?! How thoughtful. It's now included in the framing and I like knowing how much work went into getting the photo. It looks lovely and I'm going

This store is rad....with a capital R.... Plan to spend a lot of time in here exploring because they really do have something for everyone and something for every budget. Every item I saw was something I have never seen anywhere else so how perfect to find that odd thing for your own home or that awesome gift for a friend who needs something unique. Their prices are pretty amazing too and the quality is spot on. All of the yes...go here....seriously, you will thank me...

This is not another store like that.
It's pretty funky and sells things that will make you smile and maybe even laugh. No, it's nothing you absolutely need but stuff that's kind of clever, fun and interesting.
It's a small place overflowing with what I'll loosely call "stuff". It's not easy to describe what they sell. You really need to just go in and check it out. You might not buy anything but it's worth a visit if

In a sea of tourist artsy stores with all the same jewerly and art, Yankee Ingenuity brings you back to what a catch all store should be. There a little bit of everything here - jewelry, kitchen gadgets, art, clothing, and a little bit of humor. All of that and the prices are reasonable.
While from the outside it looks almost like a thrift store and the inside is not as bright as the other stores on the main drag, the originality and charm of the place wins out. It's one of those places that you know that the you were not able to see everything - a reason to return.

I rarely buy anything at Yankee Ingenuity, bcs it's a little out of my price range. But that doesn't mean this isn't a great store to browse! Wild eccentricity, Chatham-style! Which is to say: this isn't where you go shopping for a bachelorette party, but it's a great place to get a gift for someone who prefers a little more than a coffee cup that says "Chatham, Mass" on it.
There's a healthy mix of touristy gifts and just beautiful pieces that aren't Cape-specific. Layout is tight, and the store gets crowded in the summer, and there is enough breakable

Hands down, my very favorite store in the entire world. I can remember coming here as a child and spending lots of time staring at the shiny jewelry cases, and random trinkets. As an adult, I still find myself drawn to this store and I can't help but buy something every time I stop by. If you only go to one store in downtown Chatham this should be it. Pick out a print to remember your vacation, a pair of wampum earrings and a couple artisan postcards and you'll be on your way.
It isn't a trip to Cape Cod without a stop at Yankee Ingenuity.

Have you ever walked into a shop and knew that you were going to spend hours in there and possibly not buy anything but for the sake of exploration you meandered your way through it? This defines Yankee Ingenuity. Locally made items sold in a little shop on Main street in downtown Chatham.
The items range from burlesque statues to sea glass jewelry. From yoga posed skeletons carved from elk horns to local photographs of the surrounding area.
There is something for everyone at this store, whether they know it or not. Metal work, glass work, zany clocks and small glass boxes. Lawn ornaments
