Jason and Eric met while attending the MSUM film program. They hit it off right away with their wild student ambitions. They worked with each other on a small independent feature as the assistant cinematographer and the assistant director. They thought they had made it to the big time. They continued to build their friendship over the next 10 years, working on various projects and just being buddies.
Dead Horse Productions is the largest grip and electric rental company in North Dakota and can provide you with all the grip and electric support that you need for any type of video or film production. It can be an epic showdown between two gunslingers or it can be an up close personal look at how a caterpillar turns into a butterfly.
Last fall, we had the opportunity to supply grip and electric and gaff for this short western shot in the scenic Badlands of North Dakota. To challenge ourselves and to stay sharp when we are not working for a client, we experiment with some silly ideas that we have always wanted to try. Each review is created in about 4 hours.
Dead Horse Productions will come to you for your grip and lighting support needs. We offer a complete 2-ton grip and lighting package. It costs $500 per day. The list of items that are offered in the package are listed below. At the bottom of the page there are a few items that are not part of the package but we can bring them along upon request.
