The history of Healthcare Council, founded in 1946 as the Hospital Council, is an association of healthcare providers, schools and health-related institutions serving the Mid-Atlantic region. The Council assists its members by promoting intelligent planning, facilitating discussion of common problems and acting as a clearinghouse for the exchange of information.
The Healthcare Council continues to develop its All-Inclusive, Broad-Based Association of Members to accurately reflect the Providers of Care doing business in its service area encompassing the Mid-Atlantic region. It is committed to creating and providing opportunities for new members and associates while keeping membership dues low.
The pandemic is not 'over', but the country has made significant progress. We will continue to report on pandemic related issues in our other publications - including our Bi-Weekly Healthcare Update sent to our membership base. We are grateful to our region's healthcare organizations - you have been a driving force throughout the pandemic and we appreciate all you have done to get us where we are today.
