Marilyn has been with the company for over 21 years and has recently retired but is still working part-time. She is a licensed abstractor and title expert with experience in consumer, agriculture, commercial, and residential real estate lending. Marilyn has volunteered as a teacher for Home Stretch workshops for first time home buyers.
The Abstract is brought up to date by adding any new information recorded since the last certification or update. The cost of the continuation is based on the number of entries added to the Abstract and the number of names searched. A Stub Abstract is an Abstract that begins at a certain date which is requested by you and is continued to the present time.
We facilitate your complete closing, working with the Buyer's lender and the realtors for the Buyer and Seller. We will complete all the title work needed for the transaction, file all the documents, obtain mortgage payoffs for the Seller and maintain any escrows necessary for a transaction to close.
