Montessori At Hampstead
Montessori School at Hampstead (MSH) is a private, non-profit school in Montgomery offering children in central Alabama an exceptional education based on proven Montessori principles. MSH seeks to develop tomorrow's leaders by encouraging critical thinking through an experiential curriculum with focuses on environmental stewardship and global studies.

It is our mission to provide a supportive classroom where students can develop a love of learning, high self-esteem, and a strong understanding of core skills that extends beyond rote learning. Our rigorous, integrated curriculum affords all students the opportunity to extend themselves when needed while also nurturing them through more challenging experiences.
Services
The Early Childhood environment is a home away from home for children ages 12 months to 40 months. Our classrooms are designed to meet the independent and curious nature of a toddler, allowing them to explore freely in a carefully prepared environment that is just their size. Under the careful guidance of our toddler teachers, our children engage in practical life pursuits, such as dressing, hand washing, and care for their environment.
Our early Primary classrooms are designed to meet the ever-changing needs of the three to six-year-old child. Beauty and order play important roles in creating a child-size atmosphere, which is carefully designed to encourage curiosity and a love of learning. Develop positive social, emotional, and physical skills in a safe and respectful environment.
We are currently enrolling for the academic school year for our Early Childhood/Toddler and Primary programs. Montessori at Hampstead provides tours for prospective families by appointment; to find out more about our Montessori community, please contact us at 334.356.1969 to request a tour.
