Earl Osby opened the doors of his first water conditioning and water treatment distributorship in the '50s. In 1968, Osby Water Conditioning opened in downtown Hebron in the former Post Office building. When that structure was destroyed by fire in 1991, the new home of Osby Water Conditioning was constructed at 618 Front Street.

Horrible service, rude people rented us equipment that leaked, destroyed piping in our garage that we had to replace when licensed plumbers came to install a new system, requested service 3 times and when they finally came they told us we needed a softener after they took ours out saying not necessary!!! would never recommended

I heard about Osby from a coworker. When I called ,I talked to Dave. What a great owner and was extremely helpful. He took the time to explain my options and within a few days I had a technician at my house installing a new water softener. The technician, Tristan, was polite and extremely competent in his craft. He worked efficiently and answered all of my questions. Great employee. I would highly recommend Osby.

Over the past several years, I have had good experience with this company. Have the Kinetico system and works as advertised. Continue to buy filters and salt from them, their prices have been fair.
Update - we’ve had this system for almost 8 years now and have exceptional performance out of it with little maintenance and our monthly salt usage remains low.
We have the RO system and Softener and still would recommend them both and Osby Water.

We purchased the top notch water softer, & drinking water system they offered in 2009! We have had NO complaints since the day it was installed. Our drinking water taste amazing! Once a year we have to order filters to replace old filters in are drinking water system. Totally worth it to me. Much cheaper then ordering 5 Gallon water jugs from company’s or buying cases or water at grocery store. I would go for it if your on the fence... I promise it’s worth it.

Terrible customer service. Was willing to pay more for the same service elsewhere (so I didn’t have to deal with them anymore) but they are so expensive it wasn’t hard to find a friendlier cheaper company. I thought maybe it was just rude office lady’s so I gave it one more chance before leaving a review. The service guy came to the house and was just as rude as the other employees. Will not recommend to anyone.

What an amazing customer service oriented company. I have been an osby customer for almost 20 years and they have never let me down. tonight after hours I had an issue with my softener and within a half hour they where at my home and had it fixed. I cannot express how polite and professional they were turning a bad situation into a positive experience. Thank you!
