Our highlight films are carefully produced to reflect the very best moments of your day in a creative film that never wears out it's welcome. In a "Same Day Edit" we stop putting footage into the film after the grand entrance so we can edit and project this film at your reception. This film is designed for you to share your engagement with friends and family in a fresh and unforgettable way.
Dove Weddings was founded in the spring of 2001. We specialize in the art of filmmaking and story telling. Spinning off of a larger commercial documentary film company, and cutting our teeth working with clients like Lucas Films, Microsoft, and Dell, has given us a unique background in story telling.
We are always looking for great team minded creatives who want to capture incredible stories and timeless memories for our clients. Want to join the team? If you're interested in a video (cinema) or photo position please explain cameras, lenses, and equipment you're used to using. Explain equipment you own or have regular access to.
Some times the first question people ask is, "What will it cost for my film or photos". We would reply that the investment you choose to put into your memories should be in-line with your desire to have a complete and quality keepsake. We call it an "INVESTMENT" because that is truly what we believe it is.
First: Other than being super nice and extremely charming, one of the biggest differences between DW and other wedding cinematography companies is we don't shoot video. We shoot digital film with 35mm film cameras. Our cameras aren't "auto" everything. We have to do it all, manual focus, manual zoom, manual color balance, manual.

Jason and his wife seemed so nice and that's why we partnered with them. They SEEMED genuine. We thought we were getting a good deal by bundling photo and video. Long story short, he added on so many extra fees! He charged us to provide digital copies of photos. In addition he offered two levels; medium resi or high resi. When I asked all of my friends who had gotten married no one even knew what medium resi was. He was basically trying to charge us extra on every angle. In the end we paid and extra $800 for digital copies of photos, they did not online host for our family / friends to view

This Dove duo was an absolute delight to work with! Call to all South Asian brides out there - Dove kept up the pace with our multiple, back-to-back events. If there was a photo to be captured, they were there ready to go with their stealth while respecting our families and our culture. They were always one step ahead scoping out amazing scenery and the most beautiful lighting. The best part - not only did they work well with all of our other vendors, but our guests and families enjoyed their presence too! By the end of the weekend, they were like our family!

We can not emphasize enough how happy we are that we chose Dove Weddings for our photography and videography team. Planning an entire wedding from Afghanistan over the course of a year, the Dove Wedding team was responsive and professional from the start. While none of us had ever been to the ceremony or reception venue in West Virginia, the team was very easy to work with and made sure to work with all of our requests, even last minute ones. We picked Dove Weddings after watching multiple videos on their website and being continually impressed with the quality and how they seemed to tell a short story in every wedding video. After meeting with several other videographers, we finally met with Jason and Lisa. We felt that they would be able to capture our wedding day with authenticity and beauty. We are so impressed with the amazing service and style that Jason and his team brought to our wedding! Jason was so accommodating from the get-go, very professional and kind with all of our questions and requests. They are great at getting back to you and will be there to answer any question you have and they will ease your mind. We haven't received our films yet but we're sure it'll be great!

When I saw the type of work that you offered in your packages from your photos to your video I knew that you were the perfect fit for me and my husband. Both of you were so flexible with me in your pricing that I booked you that same day. When I started my search, I was looking for the cheapest person I could find to simply record the ceremony. My fiancée, on the other hand, could not accept anything less than a professional videographer, but did not want to get in a $3k debt for it. I was in a hard place...
