Dr. Gao helped me with an achilles issue that I've had for the past ten years - an injury I thought I'd always have to live with - so quickly and expertly. She is so kind, knowledgable, and caring, and the sessions are very relaxing. I'm happy that my achilles issue is essentially resolved, but I will miss getting to talk with her!

Dr. Gao is a wonderful acupuncturist. I have been to a few other acupuncturists in Frederick and have seen little results. However with Dr. Gao I am finally seeing progress. I'm SO happy I went to Dr. Gao. She has helped me manage a long term shoulder and neck pain issue that has been an on-going issue for years. Her needling technique is very gentle, precise, and effective. The morning after the appointment, I felt the least pain in my shoulder than I had for 4 years.

I highly recommend Dr. Gao. I have chronic back pain due to my job as a bedside RN. One of my coworker with a similar condition suggested that I try acupuncture. After carefully researching the local acupuncturists, I decided to give Dr. Gao a try. During the initial consult, Dr. Gao patiently went over my history and explained to me the treatment plan. She also reviewed my prognosis with me, which helped me to set appropriate expectations of my treatment. The treatment is divided into multiple hour long sessions. I did several acupuncture sessions with Hong, which completely relived pain around my waist. Her expertise was impressive. I almost felt nothing of the poking, yet it solved my problem. Hong was very thoughtful, she asked lots of questions to customize a strategy for me. She also gave me suggestions such as certain postures to help fix my waist problem.
