Share The Care
SHARE the CARE, Inc. has specialized in adult day care and respite for frail, physically and cognitively impaired adults, including those diagnosed with Alzheimer's and Parkinsons, and their caregivers since 1986. We know how important it is to provide the high quality care that family members want for their loved ones.

SHARE the CARE, Inc. helps families because, as one of our clients so wisely said, we "don't want the caregiver to wear out before their loved one does." When the need for practical, physical and emotional support is continuous, it can be difficult to do alone, no matter how much you love the person needing care.
Services
Share the Care is a not-for-profit organization providing services, education, training, and support to family caregivers, enabling them to maintain their family member at home, delaying or eliminating the need for institutional care. In 1986, a small grant was awarded to the Christian Service Center for Central Florida, Inc.
Share the Care, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, and as such, we work very hard to ensure that every donation is used wisely. Year after year, it is the generosity of kind individuals, corporations and foundations that helps Share the Care continue to serve the needs of our community's family caregivers.
If your loved one would benefit from being with others during the day, or if you need help with care while you're at work, our adult day centers can give you peace of mind and a break from your caregiver role. Our care providers have years of experience, and nursing staff is on site. We're open from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday Friday; specialized dementia programming is available.
Our Share the Care College Park Adult Day Care Center location is near the intersection of Par Street and Formosa Avenue just off of I-4. We provide a wide range of specialized and cognitively designed program activities for our senior clients. Our program is client-centered, and we believe in the potential and dignity of all our clients.
If you have a family or medical emergency and need someone to care for your loved one while you are unable to or out of town, we can help. We have arrangements with Assisted Living Facilities in Orange and Seminole counties for several overnight stays per year for your loved one at a facility you select from our list.

If it were not for Share the Care I don't believe my daughter would have the assistance that she has now. They helped beyond what I can explain and I love the fact that they make sure we caregivers get away and regroup so we can be the best we can be for the people we care for. Way to go Share the Care!

The place is depressing, not a happy looking area/building. Staff seems very nice but, you get what you paid for.

What a disappointment. The management is terrible. Big turnover in staff. Nursing constantly changing. Bruising, in the end, was an issue they couldn't explain. My mother was left to herself and lonely. Security not good, I found a client in the parking lot and they didn't know she was missing. Made up situations for their convenience. Maitland location.

Daycare for Mom. They keep her active and safe, looking out for her health and well-being. They also look out for the care-givers and understand the difficult role we play.
