Proof Eyewear

I won a pair of their sunglasses at a raffle event last week. I was excited until I opened them and noticed that they were stuck in a bag that said "scratched lenses." Sure enough, on the left lens there were many scratches. I have tried calling them multiple times and have even left a voicemail but never heard back. I'm very disappointed that they would offer a damaged product like this. Does not look good on the company.

I've been a big fan of Proof Eyewear since I discovered their flagship store in Boise a few years ago. They're eco-conscious, friendly, community builders, and their products are high quality and well-designed. I wear the Quinn Acetate RX every day — they're adorable and so light on my face! I love Proof!! Their store is unique and welcoming, and I love just walking it to browse because things are always different each time I go in. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. I got my proof sunglasses a few months ago and TAKE THEM EVERYEHERE. The Olympia Aluminum frames not only look great and feel great but they are extremely durable!! I always get asked where I got them and I am not afraid to tell them exactly where, because proof really is just that great!

I have owned two pairs of Proof Sunglasses. The first pair was a Stanley wood framed style. I loved these as they floated and as a SUP Yoga instructor and river floater, I loved that they wouldn't sink. They ended up breaking after almost three years, right at the nose bridge. I was sad and took them into the store for a new pair only to find out that that style did not fit my needs anymore. I was able to trade them in through the recycle program for a new pair at a discount. I now own the Scouts and love them too. Thanks for all the reviews, as much as I would like to get wood frames to help the planet, I cannot spend this kind of money on frames that will not last and another 550.00 on glass lenses. So I guess it will be another set of metal frames. Thank you all for your reviews to save me time and money.

I bought 8 customized stained wood wallets from Proof Eyewear. The quality of the wallets is great and the engravings came out really well. Dan was so helpful in getting everything set up for the customization. The wallets were even ready the next day for us to pick up!

Attended Boise StartUp week and heard one of Proofs founders speak. I was excited to check out the flagship store which unfortunately I've missed all this time I've been in Boise. SAM was incredibly helpful. Sam helped customize the fit and the pair came with a free wooden box, drawstring bag and a free business card holder box! Definitely worth at least walking through this store it smells great! ( ´◡‿ゝ◡`)

Support your local businesses! I'm about 8 pairs in, and will only buy from Proof. Not only is everything hand made, but they have an awesome selection, great style, and their customer service is amazing! I will only shop at Proof.

My company purchases our glasses from these guys, and we couldn't be more stoked with them. The customer service is outstanding, and we love working with them! Any issue we've ever come across has been taken care of same day - heck, within a couple of hours, typically!

Commenting on the product and online experience alone: I ordered a pair of sawdust sunglasses. After about 10 months the wood snapped. Customer service was very prompt to reply and sent me a piece to repair it with. However, it is 3 months later and one of the arms has bent irregularly.

My experience with the company has been great, and their products are cool and stylish. However if you are looking for something to last you more than a year I might reconsider.

Our family has bought at least a dozen pairs of their awesome, stylish wood frame sunglasses and prescription eyeglasses. We always get lots of compliments. The frames are light and comfortable. The glasses come with microfiber cases for cleaning/storage and wooden boxes for protection.

I wore my sunglasses maybe 6 times before they broke in half slicing my hand open.

I contacted the company twice for an exchange before they got back to me. I offered to mail the glasses back in hopes of an exchange. They were unwilling to accept the an exchange due to no proof of purchase. I had explained these sunglasses were purchased through a third party boutique and do not have a proof of purchase.

After a long chain of rude correspondences and a few solicitations to purchase additional accessories such as a leather case for my broken sunglasses nothing was accomplished.

I bought a pair of the new Sawtooth frames from the Proof website for my husbands bday...he had wanted a pair and I was so excited when they arrived. I opened the box to find that one of the lenses had already FALLEN OUT! and to top it off the engraving of the style on the frame was spelled SAWTHOOTH! Looked like a total knock off! I'm in the process of getting my refund, customer service is a joke, they never answer and when they do I feel like I am talking to some college bum. They claim a refund within 5 business days of receiving the glasses

You may recognize this biz by its team's appearance on Shark Tank. They should have taken the money. They might have learned to build a good customer service organization.

In April, I purchased a pair of their bamboo wood sunglasses. This was an on-line purchase and the glasses were shipped in a cool wooden case.

Within 30 days, the frames had broken. They were worn a total of 4 times and the frame breaks and lens fall out.
