Services
Our park is located in the heart of Northeast Alabama and surrounded by mountains on all sides. We have level gravel sites that can accommodate any size rig. We know you have choices when looking for a campground to stay at, even with the high fuel prices, we believe that if you stay with us, you will enjoy yourself.
Please call if you need a reservation within the next 72 hours or if you need a reservation longer than 14 days. Everyone please remember that camping is a outdoor activity. We do not give refunds due to bad weather or you just changing your mind. When you make a reservation and we are close to full for a particular site, then we turn other guest away, so please try and keep your reservation(we know things come up beyond your control).
Parnell Creek RV Park is in the heart of a lot of area attractions. Camp here while you take day trips to Huntsville, Guntersville, Chattanooga, Fort Payne, Scottsboro, Decater and many more. How about the Alabama Regulatory Gun Shoot (check out some pictures below)located about 5 miles away and is heald the first Sunday of each month.
We love to see groups of campers having a good time. If it's just 2 or 3 campers or 10 campers, we would love to host your outing. If you are a member of a group and are interested in scheduleing a camping GTG(get together) please contact us for arrangements. The more the merrier. We have 2 outdoor shelters 1 large and 1 smaller, clubhouse, and a new indoor meeting room.
We are located just off highway 72 between Huntsville and Scottsboro at mile marker 125. Highway 72 is the main throughfare between Chattanooga, TN. and Huntsville, AL. Traveling from Scottsboro, take 72 west to mile marker 125 and take a left onto Parnell Circle. From Huntsville take 72 east to mile marker 124 and slow down, we are just past the log cabin store and over the ridge, take a right onto Parnell Circle.

What a lovely, quite, well kept park. The owners are lovely, and very responsive! Wifi and cell service aren't great but there's putt putt and a great salt water pool in season, so just turn the devices off. There's a little noise if your close to the highway but nothing ear plugs or a white noise machine can't mend. We really liked this park and all the surrounding areas.
You're minutes from Cathedral Caverns, and a short day trip from Chattanooga or Ruby Falls. If that's not your jam plenty of shopping in Huntsville, with a great park in Hampton Cove, or head the other direction to Scottsboro

We stayed here when traveling to a family wedding. We arrived 2 minutes before the check in cut off and we were still greeted with a smile and fantastic hospitality. When the LYFT that we had scheduled to take us to the wedding 5 miles away cancelled--at pick up time---we called the office in a panic and within 5 minutes the OWNER of the campground came and picked us up and took us to the wedding and she had to make 2 trips because there were 6 of us AND it was pouring rain. Hospitality could not be beat. The campground was clean and well kept. They also own the Log Cabin restaurant and gas station

We came to Alabama to visit family and found this gem. It's right off the highway and in between two big areas. The owners are an inspiration working the camp and the Log Cabin Store. Long days but they are nailing it. Clean park, nice pool and a friendly welcome. We will definitely stay here again.

We had a nice time at the Parnell Creek RV Park. Our daughter was in space camp and this park is about 20 mins away. The lady who runs it is very nice and accommodating. The sites are nice, a lot of them are pull through. There is a fenced dog run. The pool is wonderful, clean and refreshing in the AL heat. We hope to come back another time.

I went to the campground to get my propane tank filled. I had heard they did that. It took under 5 minutes and the owner was very very nice! Customer service, you gotta love it! Price was great! He gave me a little insight. Those tanks for grills are 20 lbs but they only have 15 lbs in the places you swap your tank at. He fills them to 20 lbs! Go fill your tanks at Parnells folks!
