Several years ago my daughter was in this ballet classes. Ms. Marjorie did not tell us when the final recital was until a few weeks before. The recital happened to be on memorial weekend. We already had a travel plans. When I told Ms. Marjorie this, she told me if my daughter didn’t attend the recital and cancel our plans, we would no longer be able to attend classes the next year. We didn’t attend. She left my husband an angry voicemail. I’m sure we weren’t the only family who had this issue with the recital being a holiday weekend.

My daughter was fortunate enough to take ballet with Marjorie for a year and a half. I can't say enough good things about her experience. My daughter was a bit old to be just starting out, and Marjorie did an amazing job of making sure she was placed where she needed to be, and making sure she learned all the she needed to learn. Our time with her was wonderful. She fosters discipline and hard work in a very structured environment that values friendship and mentorship between students of all ages and experience levels. We are now living in Texas, and my daughter has mentioned more times than I

Ms. Marjorie is an excellent steward of the art. She teaches technique and discipline in a compassionate and joyful atmosphere. She obviously loves her work with young dancers. She engages them on different levels and teaches life skills at the same time she helps them to dance beautifully. She takes the time to get to know each dancer as a person. My little girls admire, respect, and love Ms. Marjorie. I would recommend her dance studio to any aspiring ballet dancer.
A side note: She does not tolerate poor behavior. If your children are accustomed to discipline and are expected to respect their

Wonderful classic ballet school. Marjorie and her teachers care a lot about the growth of their dancers. I have seen several of her senior ballerinas recognized for their talent and accepted into ballet programs across the country. They are also able to accommodate varying levels of ballet experience. All ages come to the school and by the end of the year they are dancing up a storm.

My 5 year old attended this school for about 6 months. I'll try to make this short...
1. VERY strict school. These 5 year olds want to be frilly and whimsical ballerinas. Not here. Tutu's are not allowed, except 1 day every few months. Seriously? If a 5 year old is serious in ballet, having frilly and whimsical ballet classes will not diminish that desire!
2. Miss Marjorie, while a wonderful dancer and what appears to have a successful business, could use some skills in working with 5 year olds. The look on their little faces when she scorns them for making a mistake (God forbid
