1. the induction of a state of consciousness in which a person apparently loses the power of voluntary action and is highly responsive to suggestion or direction. Its use in therapy, typically to recover suppressed memories or to allow modification of behavior by suggestion, has been revived but is still controversial.

I was on oxygen- hooked up to "that tank" and limited in ALL of my choices and left out of my own life. I now feel free and confident that my body will heal quickly- I'll never take my breath for granted again! I've been on disability for a long time now with chronic back pain and several epileptic seizures daily.

Before I got to this point, my life and health were a complete and total mess. In my previous incarnation this time around, I was a school teacher for 25 years. I was ultimately faced with a health crisis that prompted me to retire early and seek out alternatives for my own healing. Using hypnosis, alternative therapies and frequency machines, my health returned to normal and my second career occurred.
As fantastical as it may sound, remote work for you or on behalf of someone else can be done from great distances. You do not always have to be present. As featured in The Psychotherapy Journal of the American Psychiatric Association, a review of 2,000 psychotherapy literatures were surveyed by Dr. Alfred Barrios in 1970 with the following findings regarding hypnotherapy versus other forms of therapy. It is important to note that these are average numbers and should not really be interpreted to suggest that every condition can be helped in 6 hypnotherapy sessions or less.
I use a discovery method through muscle testing to find what the real source of an issue is. Many different symptoms of problems surface in people's lives: there is more than one approach to find and to address the problem - not just the symptoms. One person takes a pill for recurring back pain, another has surgery, another person looks for natural ways to treat the pain.
I recently had the pleasure of working with Phyllis Barrington for the first time. I had scheduled an extended session, but did not expect to receive her full attention and efforts for nearly seven hours! Using a variety of techniques, we worked on emotional issues that have troubled me for decades.
