Services
Business was purchased by Wayne G. and Idona Jackson. The business was owned by Mr. Blackett at the time and was Superior Cleaners. At that time, there were four drycleaning businesses in Cedar City. Wayne had worked for Mr. Blacket throughout high school. After he came home from WWII, he and his wife purchased the drycleaning business.
Contrary to popular belief, dry cleaning does not mean your clothing is tumbled around in a dry basket of air. The cleaning process involves no water - only a safe solution which is extremely effective at removing soil and the most common stains. From silks to wools to cottons, our solvent is tough on dirt but easy on the fabric.
Jackson Dry Cleaners has a professional tailor on call to handle all your alterations and tailoring needs. From major repairs to minor adjustments, we can do it all. We replace zippers and buttons, make size alterations, shorten and lengthen hems, alter and fit wedding gowns and bridesmaid dresses, and much more.
Out of town guests coming to visit? Let Jackson Dry Cleaners friendly and professional service take some of the stress out of household cleaning chores and make your visitors' stay as pleasant as possible. There's nothing like bed linen that is freshly cleaned and pressed - bedding, comforters, blankets and pillows will be completely cleaned and deodorized and returned to you folded, and sealed in protective clear plastic.

Jackson dry cleaners did a great job on my bed comforter. My daughter got sick and as children often do, passed the bathroom and instead came running into my room. Unfortunately the meal she ate before getting sick was chicken tikka masala, an Indian curry sauce made mainly with purée tomato and turmeric. Therefore the vomit that followed was vibrant red and orange. (No, my cooking did not make her sick in case you were wondering).
Now, to make matters worse it not only hit my carpet, but my brand new comforter of less than a week. This particular comforter is light baby blue. The tikka masala

This review is for Christine, a seamstress who was recommended for me by Jackson Dry Cleaner:
Christine is an absolute life saver. I had a pair of suit pants that I needed a seam repaired on before a wedding. Foolishly, I put off having the pants repaired until the weekend of the wedding. I was starting to panic because I figured no business would be open on the weekend. I called Christine and she picked up on the first ring. She was able to mend my pants outside of her normal hours for a very reasonable fee. Her work was stellar and her prices were more than fair. I could not recommend her business
